Maple was leaned against a wall in the royal ball which her father had invited everyone from the nearby kingdoms for her to find a husband or he would pick for her, she walked around silently but no one caught her eye,from her angle anyways, instead she hummed a toon before being shot a glare by her father

William was walking around the ball and looking around for a wife. He wanted to make his parents proud but also choose who he will marry. He mostly hates the royal ball because many of the lady's father will introduce them to him and he would turn them down because he saw the greed in the father's eyes. He hears a lady humming and silently walk towards her.

She shook off his glare and took a sip of her cup, she was approached by a few men but she walked to them and nothing more, she turned some down but the others stood there ground, it annoyed her but she kept her self to a minimum, she saw a handsome man out the corner of her eye but kept speaking to the man infront of her telling him some things about her

William can see the lady talking to a man in front of her and waits a bit to talk to the lady that caught his interest. He gently grabs a cup and takes a sip. He polity talks with come of the ladies that comes up to him for a talk and gently turns them down when they asked for a dance.

She looked away as the man got lead away with another woman, she let out a sigh of relief and set her empty cup down, she wasn't supposed to drink alot but what else could she do besides it was her first cup of the night

He can see the man walk away from the lady he wanted to talk to. He polite excused himself from the ladies he was talking to and walks to the lady that caught his attention. "Hello miss?" William said polite to the lady.

She smiled at him "hello sir" she smiled at him politely, he seemed very nice to her and it was the man that caught her eye earlier, so she wanted to see what kinda person he was

"I'm okay" she says "just not used to alot of guest" she proceeded "not the biggest fan of crowded areas" she pointed out getting a smile from one gentleman and shaking off the feeling "how about you?" She asked him,
