a loud buzzing whirr cuts through the relative silence, and i look up, spotting a boat cutting through the middle of the bay. it's covered in tourists, and i can spot Angela at the head, holding a bucket of raw meat. she whistles, and a all the mer in the bay turn to the boat, eyes locked on the boat. polishing off his fish, Gabriel inches forward curiously. a few other mer have approached the boat, and Angela starts tossing the food in the bucket into the water.

"should we go get some of that?" Gabriel asks, looking on interested. i nod, heading for the boat. Gabriel is quick behind us, and i spot the familiar scarred fin belonging to mauga. the shark tailed mer approaches the boat, hauling himself over the edge of the boat for food.

Alexander smirked to himself as she picked up the pinkish shell assuming it was working (yes Alexander you a real charmer XD) and moved closer to the top side common mermaid but remained hidden he was unaware that his tail started glowing from his excitement this was the closest he was getting to have actual friend. The sunlighthitthe waters above Georgia lighting her features and the Deepsea merman blushed strange feeling overcame him

Georgia looked at the shell holding it out in the light the pink matched her scales it was almost as if someone was trying to cort her "beautiful" she mumbled her eyes shining with excitement and happiness and a small smile crossed her features as the light hit her

Angela pushes mauga back into the water, saying something i can't quite make out and laughing. she reaches into the cooler beside her, pulling out a slab of beef and tossing it into the water. Gabriel leaps forward, snatching up the food and bringing it back, wiggling his way between my arms to feast on his prize.

"if everyone will look over here, this is our biggest mer yet, mauga." Angela announces, tossing a slab of meat in his direction. he grabs it, tearing it to shreds. "he is a sharkfin mer and his tail is that of a great white!" she explains, gesturing to him a he takes the shreds of meat over to his cave. "he's not a big fan of tourists" she laughs awkwardly, before directing the tourists attention towards a group of lionfish mer.

as she talks, one of the others on the boat drops something in the water on a long metal pole, leaving it under the water and turning it around. curious, i untangle myself from Gabriel, swimming up to the thing.

Malis was going to the open water to swim around.

Nana's eyes widen when she saw a mer slowly goes to the metal pole with the spinning thing. "Wait don't that can hurt you," Nana said out loud.

i whirl, the person behind me startling me. "who are you?" i question, baring my teeth. Gabriel comes up behind me, inspecting the odd object. he grabs it, pulling it towards him. the person holding the rod pokes him with it, shoving him backwards and wiggling it out of his grasp.

Nana said, "My names Nana and they used that to poke us which I don't don't know why,"

Malis is still swimming around in the open area and sees the boat. He stays away from the boat.

A small chuck of from Mauga's meal that was getting torn to shreds landed on Georgia head making the blonde squeak in surprise and shake her head trying to get it off and once it was off her she turned her attention to what was going on the serface and she looked up and swam up towards the serface being extremely wary and nervous and finally her head reaches the serface shocked seeing humans for the first time snowdrops her precious seashell and it slowly sank towards the bottom. Georgia blue eyes widened at them but kept away
