yeah I totally get that, i think i got corruption on some of mine too. Yeah it would be a handy philter to have for sure. Disrupt a 3v a couple times and LOVE 2/3 traits but want a different trait than one you hate xD yeah pick up the disrupter for the slot you do want. Really not sure if it would be viable for krin though since some people, myself included, will just buy distrupters and keep shuffling those traits till the trait we want comes up xD

Just saw this one, and I want to say I am not really thinking about this as being a replacement for a regular disruptor, but rather an additional means to get what a player wants. As you said, sometimes you might have a pet where you love one or two of the traits (and if this can be used on offspring, more) and there is just that one trait that simply won't come through.

I don't always want to take a chance on traits, especially if there is a trait I really love, but then I get a trait I hate (say Frosted and Corruption on Aeri, I love frosted, but hate corruption, so wouldn't neccessarily want to lose frosted). It would be worth it to me to be able to wait until I get a specific slot disruptor to get rid of corruption and not touch the other trait(s).

I don't really see this as getting a huge amount of use. As a potentially expensive item, it wouldn't be. But it would still be an option for those who want it, while most could just keep gambling with regular disruptors.

Another way this could be useful is if someone uses a restricted trait disruptor, then realizes that there is another trait on the pet that they don't want or doesn't look good with the particular restricted trait they ended up with. They wouldn't want to use a regular disruptor (and since pets can be sold, it might not even be the person who added the restricted trait to the pet, but someone who bought that pet) because it would get rid of the restricted trait, and this would allow them change the one trait, without touching the restricted.

While I can see where Krin might not want to add it if it doesn't get a lot of use, sometimes I think that having various options, even if they don't see a large amount of use, are good, as long as they are still useful, and I feel that this would be useful to players, probably a lot of players at least once in their time on sylestia, because I am sure all players have had this issue of getting the perfect hatch, but then getting a bone trait, or rainbow, or lucky runes etc...

yes! i think a colour disrupter would be fun, because with dyes you can choose. a disrupter would totally randomise it, but with the same effect as what you listed.

I am not sure you understood what I mean.

While I think a color randomizer would be fun, as sometimes you just aren't sure what colors you really want, I am talking about a disruptor for traits: genes and mutations.

If this is what you meant, sorry for misunderstanding you, but just wanted to clarify in case you thought I meant colors and not the traits themselves.
