Ray bounces on the toes of their feet, excited to finally be doing this. Then they pause and regret having to split the treasure with Jack since then they couldn't claim they did it all by themself later. They sigh and ready themselves for any siren or alarm. Nothing. This didn't seem right. It was too easy. Ray tries to dismiss the feeling and looks inside the room, looking for any traps. They easily spot a few and simply go around them. They don't bother to warn Jack, figuring that the guy knew where things were and stuff.

Jack stayed by the door, in case his fellow guards came close. He did know where traps where. "Be very careful, some are triggered by the lack of weight." He said softly.

"Mhm." Ray says off handly, focused on their job. They search through their satchel and exchange a few things for the pressure sensitive objects. They come back out with what they were after and hands Jack 50%. "And that's that. Thank you, good bye!" They turn to leave, but there was the sounds of guards racing towards them. "I thought I had got them!" Ray complains.

"We have multiple sets, just in case. Come on, looks like my part ain't done yet." He said, grabbing Ray by the arm and pulling them along as he started down the hall quickly.

Ray bites back a yelp as their arm nearly gets torn out of their socket. They quickly get their feet back under them and race along side Jack.
There were the sounds of angry guards behind them. An alarm sounds.
"Do they know you were guarding the treasure? You could get in big trouble. Hehe, or you can pretend I've killed you and then you can start a new life as someone else! Man, I seem to be the most amazing person at faking deaths and creating new identities."

"Not sure. Now shush, less talk more running." he said, yanking Ray again around a corner. "There are fewer guards that lead to the back garden, if we can get there then I can get you over the wall." He took them down a door less tunnel way, it had no guards but could allow the ones behind them to swarm after so they had to move quickly.

"Why thank you." Ray says. He doesn't manage to keep from yelping that time. He tried to keep up with Jack.
The guards had called reinforcements and were coming after them. Some were catching up.

Jack shoved Ray ahead of him.

Ray stumbles but quickly regains his balance and runs as fast as he can.

The tunnel soon ended with a wooden door.

Jack called to Ray. "ey!" He grabbed his key ring and hung the silver one for Ray as he caught up to him
