"It's a huge shot in the dark."

Orioreo nodded. It would dangerous for both him and his pack.

"We should all work together! We may not have much time.."

Urana
"Yeah."
Then a wild howl came from inside the medicine tent.

"Oh no! They may be here!"

Ori screamed, trying to stay calm. He didn't want anyone to get bitten.

"Camofluage may work, but it's not a great idea."

The alpha male got a little closer, shifting just in case.

The howl cut out abruptly, and Veris crawled out, a deep claw mark across his chest.
"It was Tenna She turned as I was checking her."

Urana swore.
"I can't believe we lost her. That's another hunter gone."

Veris was on the verge of tears. Tenna had been his mate. And he'd had to put her down.

"Great. Another one bites the dust."

Orioreo growled slightly. He was tired of this Nighthowler stuff.

"Wait a second.. is that clawmark infected?"

Ori remembered the way the Nighthowlers transformed their victims.

Veris
"O-only a bite can transfer it. Some have even survived it without symptoms. Others had symptoms, but weren't driven mad."

"It still seems bad. I could check whether the medics are okay."

Ori sighed. Everything was so hectic and confusing!

"I cannot currently see the full extent."

(Veris is the lead medicinewolf. He's the only one that stays in the medicine tent.)
Veris nodded, and whimpered.

"Oh.. That's good."

Ori nodded, going out to check everyone else. Hopefully they were safe.

Veris returned to the tent. Weeping could be heard from inside.
