"I've heard that Innkeeper Joe is nice to travellers. He hates my guts, though. I could barter for a room, though." Zach says, sounding sure of himself. He stares straight ahead of him, not focusing on anything, and unable to see whatever he was supposed to be seeing.

"If you feel you could try to do that, then sure. If you aren't sure though..." she hesitated before realizing she didn't want to finish her thought.

"I can take on the world. I can do it." Zach says confidently, standing up and offering Selene a hand. He didn't feel ready, but he was willing to try.

She took Zach'a hand and realized hers was really cold. "I know you can. It's a matter if you know you can." She easily stood up. "And otherwise I'd have to be the one to barter. As you can't... well... talk anymore."

Zach stays silent for a long moment, heading towards the door, nearly running into the edge of a chair before remembering that it was there and moving around it.
"True." Zach says, opening the door and heading outside. At once, he froze as he hears a familiar voice.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Zach. Brought along a girlfriend?" The dragon says, his voice a sneer.
" The dragon's name is James, and he probably brought along the rest of his gang. " Zach notes, hands balling into fists.
"Last time I saw you, you were an outcast from just the Welsh kingdom, now it seems as if the Labyrinth didn't want you either. Will you ever find a place to belong?" James mocks.
"Childhood enemy." Zach explains.

"Alright, first of all, James I am not his girlfriend. Second of all, we escaped the labyrinth and you know what? I bet you couldn't. In fact, I don't think you would've lasted five minutes!" She said, exasperated.

"So someone has been talking about me I see." James says, folding his arms in front of his chest. There were two other dragons behind him and they seemed ready for a fight. "Well, that doesn't matter. You two were in our house. You see, we usually are kinder to newcomers, but Zach was apparently idiot enough to ignore the rules and make himself at home. This is our place, you invaded, and we have to punish you properly."
"Oh no he won't." Zach places himself in front of Selene, glaring at the approximate position of James. James put his hands in the air.
"Oooo, I'm so scared now." James says, and the dragon's behind him laugh. James aims a punch to Zach's jaw.

Selene took out her daggers. "I wouldn't if I were you. I still have these from the labyrinth and I'm not afraid to use them. Who knows what might happen to you if it even scratched you." She glared at James.

James eyed you and the daggers. "Really? AH, here's a deal. I'll let you guys off the hook if you hand over those daggers. I won't bother you if you give them to me peacefully."

"You think I'd give you these willingly? How can I know you wouldn't hurt us or if you're even worthy to have these. In fact you could scratch of hurt yourself. I accidentally scratched him and it made him blind, not able to speak, almost lose all of his sense of touch, and he can't fly anymore. That's with how strong Zach is. If you scratch yourself you could die, weakling." She stared up at Zach. "Sorry about having to lie, I just need to do it for now. It might save us a lot of trouble.
