There was a story from where Asher was from. It told about the mysteries of the Labyrinth and why it was there. It ended something like this -
'The Labyrinth is a feared place, full of monsters and tributes. No one has managed to escape the place. It is a good thing, though. With every tribute, the monsters are held off for a month longer. If you are chosen, it just means you're helping others live longer.'
And, so, what I'm doing is good. I'll just have to survive... Or I guess just die. Either way, it doesn't matter. Asher notes to himself, taking a glance at the other people that were destined to head into the Labyrinth as well. He didn't know whether the person next to him was talkative or not. She seemed nice, so Asher tried to strike up some conversation.
"H-hi! I'm Asher. Who are you?" Asher asks cheerfully, wings fluttering nervously behind him.

She glances up at him. Her eyes are purely gold no pupils, no white, just a deep brown-yellow. She has freckles on her face, but theyre a strange, metallic ice-blur, which shimmer like how metal does in light.

"H-hi." Asher says again, finding himself entranced in Hakira's golden eyes and metallic freckles. He clears his throat, silently telling himself to stop staring, brushing a hand through his brown hair. "Who are you?" He asks again, not looking quite at Hakira.

,, My name is Hakira Nyras. ,, Her voice is quiet but has a strange rumble to it, reminiscent of thunder. She has some sort of accent which hes pretty sure is Japanese (the raiju myths come from Japan). Her teeth are frighteningly sharp, but almost look as if theyre made of gold. It matches very well with her oddly pale skin, ice-white hair, and strange golden eyes.

"Nice to meet you." Asher says, giving her a smile. Wonder what species she is? What powers? Wait, you're sounding like a creepy stalker person that takes advantage of things.

,, What is your name? ,, She tilts her head slightly.

"Asher, at your service, my lady." Asher says with a small bow. He glances at the looming fate before them, not quite ready to enter the Labyrinth, but knowing that in a few minutes they would have to.

She looks away again. He notices that theres skits in her fingers where she likely has claws. Her entire body gleams faintly, and her body is oddly smooth.

"Do you have any magic powers to help us in the Labyrinth or anything?" Asher asks, trying to be nonchalant in his asking, knowing that some people didn't like to talk about their powers.

,, I am immune to and can conduct electricity. ,, She replies simply. That somewhat makes sense; her body does look very metallic.
