Fira was trying to wrap her mind around everything the goddess had revealed to her, and it was making her head hurt just trying to think about everything that she was expected to do

The giant goddess stares down at her silently. Katurva's face was oddly expressionless, making it near impossible to read her emotions. It made sense for her to choose Fira- she's half human, meaning she can understand them better than a full dragon would.
