The air where the spirit once was glitched and a horrible monster shone through and growled "You're next..." and disappeared.

"Agh!" She almost screamed in terror at how horrific the monster looked. "Aya, what was that?!"
(For some reason I want to give my dragon the ability to speak with me through telepathy. I think I've been reading to many Pern books.)
Aya: I'm not sure. It doesn't look like anything I've seen before. Are you sure you're okay?
"Y-yeah. I'm fine. Just startled me is all."
