There were several known laws of the Multiverse. No two universes or timelines are exactly alike. Just because you may have another version of yourself, doesn't nessecarily mean that other version will take kindly to you; they may be looking for free EXP. Every action has a reaction.

If a different version of Sans shows up in the wrong universe, that's a sure sign chaos will shortly ensue.

Especially if that Sans just so happens to be Error.

"Why do you always insist on constantly getting in my way, you little--!!" Error's flectulaing tone made the rest of the sentance hard to understand, but any creature, human or monster, with half a brain cell could've guessed that whatever it was, it certianally wasn't polite.

Ink casually dodged to the side to evade the deceptively-dangerous blue strands that flew at him, as most versions of himself excelled at. They'd played this song and dance a hundred times, and both sides knew the steps by heart. Attack, evade, take advantage of the other.

attio watches the fight from the background. with him are nish and abyss sans.

they watch silently as error and ink fight.

attio says "8946567 also known as error sans. you are an anomaly. I need to watch you in case you free Apophis. if that happens that would mean the end of this multiverse."

"I will leave to the underfell universe, for that has a lot of evil." attio gones to the underfell universe. abyss and nish keep on watching.

Ink went in for a swift blow, but was promptly thrown off balance when a dark figure swooped at him from above.
"Whoops!" Ink yelped.
"S-sorry! That's not me!" The figure called down.

Ink looked up and quickly recognized the form. Familiar, even with the large, jet black wings.
"Heya Sans!" He chimed in greeting.

Sans, or Crow as he was sometimes called to avoid confusion, grinned sheepishly before going in for another strike. "Uh, hi. Say, I'd love to chat, but I'm kinda-- Woah!"

Ink ducked out of the way. "Take your time!"

"Sorry again! I don't wanna, but I'm kinda 'tied up' at the moment..." Crow went on, glacing down at his bound soul.

meanwhile in the underfell universe.

UF sans says "could you please let me have a day of rest papyrus!"
UF papyrus " no, you need to be tough in order to survive."
UF sans " I'll show you strong!" UF sans launches bones at UF papyrus and misses.

Ink bit back a chuckle. "Pfff...! D-don't worry, I'll help ya, just-- 'hang' in there!"
"Snrk-- Oh, oh man-- haha!" Crow managed before decending into giggles himself.

Error rolled his eyes at the two before launching a barrage of fragmented attacks at his opponent.
"Uh-oh." Ink mumbled, bringing his brush up in an arch in front of him, leaving a trail of black paint that effectively deflected the on coming attack.

"Give me a minute?"
"Yeah, sure, I'm not going anywhere fast." Crow responded.
"Thanks." Ink returned before darting over towards Error.

suddenly a portal appears and US sans and US papyrus appears along with sico.

attio calls out sico and asks him what he was doing.

"apophis somehow escaped. he currently was in the underswap dimension."

(....sico? You mean Phyco?)

"What is he-- Grrk!!"
"Ah-ha!" Ink exclaimed in triumph as he landed a deft blow square in Error's chest. Error recoiled, some of the lines slacking, but he wasn't ready to throw down the towel just yet. Regaining his hold, he yanked hard on a few of the lines, dragging Crow down for another pass. "Geez!"

Ink smirked. Just what he thought might happen. He ducked under and, with a practiced and percise stroke, brought his brush up and across, severing the lines keeping Crow captive.

Crow, caught off guard by the sudden change, let out a small shout as he regained control of his wings. "Phew..." He let out a huff as soon as he found balance in the air again.

Alternate Universe #12, Underswap, Neuteral Timeline...

"Oh no, gravity is increasing on meee...." Papyrus mumbled in mock dismay.
"No it is not!" Sans (Or Blue, to avoid confusion) pressed out, trying to shove his brother out the door.
"No, it is. This happened last week too."
"You're just being lazy. Again."
"So?"
"We're gonna be late! The human and Alphys and everyone else are waiting for us!"

before sico shows up with attio
suddenly, someone barges in and makes a shield that blocks a blow which levels the librarbry.
"you okay, says sico."
"yes," says US sans and US papyrus.
"We have to get out of here. I've already told undyne to evacuate everyone she can and toriel to absorb the human souls and get another one outside, although it will probably be for nothing."
sico opens a portal to attio's position. "through here, quick. I can't hold the shield forever." they enter the portal.

how many times have I done these, one hundred, two hundred? I've lost track. but an interesting thing happened in this timeline. ink and error killed each other creating a anti-death death vortex and killed everyone except for the dream and nightmare of this timeline. Nish saved them, for he to is a nightmare. he is a nightmare sans that absorbed my soul and pieces of dreams soul. the dream and nightmare we rescued suffer from nightmare attacks but they care for each other. they spend most of the time in THE GARDEN. THE GARDEN is my portion of the anti-void. it exists outside of the resets, so IN dream and IN nightmare can live.

Blue winced at the distant crash. "What was...?" He started, forgetting about his brother for a moment to take a look outside.
"Whatever it was, it didn't sound good." Papyrus noticed.
Blue glanced back at him. "It, um, doesn't look real good either..."
"Do you see any alternate versions of ourselves?"
"....No? I can't really tell from here."
"Then what do you see?"
"Uh, big cloud of dust. Not like, monster dust, I mean dirt dust... I'm gonna go check it out!" Blue announced before dashing off.
"Sans, bro, wait--!" Papyrus exclaimed, but Blue was already gone.

Crow shook out his wings, then looked around briefly. "Maybe I can, uh, be of assistance? That okay painter-me?"
"Sure thing!" Ink replied.
"Righto! I have an idea, you keep that shady guy busy!" Crow called down before flying off, careful not to get tangled up again.
