He silently stifled a slight laugh as she landed on her rear,and he gently set down,folding his wings gracefully as he ran a hand through his hair to get some out of his brown eyes as their golden flecks shimmered. He crouched down with a fanged smile. "Heh...it's pretty safe,tho it's gettin' a little ruff,but for the time being..." He trailed off,his tail twitching and his freckle scales turning a sad brown,the color of his hair.

Well, :Zana said: Better safe for an evening than not, I suppose. :She stands, moving towards the town.

He stood up as well,but didn't follow,not thinking she'd want him to follow,so he sighed softly and paced over to a tree and climbed up,getting himself in a position to drop back and hang by his tail again,his under wings now a sad dark brown and his golden flecks in his eyes didn't shimmer,having seen her head to town,but he knew he couldn't go back because he'd get Lila into trouble. He'd never want to do that.

:Zana returned not long later, having decided staying in town was more of a risk than not. She walked a few feet into the woods, nudging leaves into a pile with her foot, and wistfully looking back the direction she came.

He saw her and then swung upside down by his tail,tho twisting his head to keep an eye on her.He wasn't sure still if she could be a threat or not,he didn't want to fight...he really didn't,but he would if he had to....but he wouldn't like it.

She sat down heavily on the leaves, picking some up and crumpling them while resting her cheek on her other hand. She seemed to have forgotten he was there, and was muttering to herself about ending something. She would occasionally look up at the stars as if asking them for advice.

He heard her,but not clearly,and he gently lowered himself down as he let his tail un-coil.He stood silently on the ground and came closer to her silently,his wings fluffed in case he had to fly.He wanted to know what she was speaking of,but he knew that Lila would scold him for ease dropping. But,for once he wanted to hear her do so,he missed her. He stayed hidden in the shadows behind a tree,making himself a lot smaller than he seemed and hid fairly well.

"You know, It'd be a lot easier to stop this nonsense if I knew what to do." -pause, looks at stars-
"Nothing? Why does Chloe get all the Priestess stuff and I'm stuck here talking to freaking stars? All this fighting has to be against whatever is up there's beliefs. But nooooooo. Nothing for Zana."


She looked back down, crumpling more leaves into a pile of leafy dust.

He raised an eyebrow. 'Someone else doesn't want this war...maybe...hmm..' he thought to himself,letting thoughtful sparks sputter around his mouth as his freckle scales turned teal and his under wings turned a thoughtful swirl of blue and dark purple again.

"And now to find Jasper too? Where could HE possibly be? Well, the faster I figure this out the better."
