You get to keep the pet that you won. If you don't like the pet, you can choose a new door in the next round. (I'll start the next round once everyone has claimed the pets they've won.)

Do you have to play in the first round to join the second round?
Also, if there is a ping list, I'd like to be in it. :D

No, you don't have to be in the first round to play in the second. Its kind of a first-come, first-serve. I'm just waiting for Kalores to decide if she wants to claim her prize or pass it on to the next round.
And, sure, I can ping you when the next round starts. :)
