Levi was sitting in a tree, eating an apple as he watched the people walk below him in a boring fashion, he almost wished something interesting would happen so his day would not be as boring as it always did.
"The day is so young, yet the sun is so old," He muttered to himself as he pulled out a book and started to read, glad he could at least read to ease his mind of his thoughts.

Beverly flung open the windows to the family's small apartment. She was careful of the plants that littered the sill and that were climbing up the sides as she slowly climbed out and onto the narrow ledge. Everyone was being much too loud and she had a pounding headache.
"A foot down, the other follows, a foot down, the other follows," she kept muttering as she climbed off the ledge onto the little iron design that was used to grow ivy. She slipped suddenly, letting off a yelp before she regained stability

Cherry was walking through the halls of school, the bell had rung a couple minutes earlier, signaling the end of the day and Cherry was happy she was able to leave. Skipping down the hall she went outside and headed to Beverly's apartment. She stopped when she saw Beverly and waved, a friendly smile on her face.

Bev jumped down the rest of the way, it was really only 2 or so feet, and turned around. She saw Cherry waving and smiled. She walked over slowly, her headache now throbbing because of her landing.
"Hiya, how've you been. School okay?" Bev asked. She didn't go to school anymore, the need to support the family outweighed her education.

"I'm doing good and school is okay! How are you? How are things at home," She asked in a careful tone, knowing how hard it must be to not be able to go to school, "I'm worried though," She said in a quieter voice, "Police patrols are increasing... I'm worried why?"
