Maybe they're on a first date or something? And, like, your guy pretends to be well off, but plays the pity card by saying he got kicked out of his home so Raven will take him in.

((Yep))
Raven was using the window of the cafe to make sure he looked perfect. This was his first ever date and he wanted to make an impression. He'd never felt so jittery before! He finally grinned at his reflection as he stopped messing with his clothes. "Good enough," he murmured to himself as he kept waiting.

Isaiah looked through a floor-to-wall length mirror that was showcased outside of a jewelry store, checking his reflection. Noting a little blood on his cheek, he quickly wiped it off and swept his hair out of his eyes. Circling to get a better look at how his clothes fit, Isaiah lit a match and set the bike-rack nearby on fire, with no change to his calm demeanor. A couple seconds later, he ran into the store with one of his well practiced looks of innocent fear and frantically told he worker about the fire, causing the girl to grab the fire extinguisher and run out to the bike rack to put out the flames. Seeing that nobody was around, he quickly swiped every piece of jewelry in sight, before knocking a magazine rack onto the floor and striking another match, sending the papers in flames. Within moments the store was up in burning fire and Isaiah was walking calmly down the back street with a smile on his face. Checking a gleaming silver watch now on his wrist, he realized he was late for his date. So he made his way to the cafe and strode in about 7 minutes late. With an expressionless face, he looked around and after a moment said to a pale-haired guy by the window,"Excuse me, are you Raven Travers?"

Raven checked his watch for the billionth time, noting that it was seven minutes past when they were to meet. Was he too early? Was the other guy late? Was he being stood up? So many anxieties filled his mind as he stood there, feeling more and more awkward. His smile was starting to become strained, feeling like he may have been forgotten. He checked his pale, almost white hair again to make sure it stayed where he wanted it. He checked his clothes to make sure they met good dating standards, not that Raven knew what those were. He was on the brink of an anxiety attack from all the nervous energy he had generated. It didn't happen often, but it was very possible. Then he jumped as someone said his name. He turned and his blue eyes widened. "Uhm, yeah, that's me. I'm Raven. Raven Travers. You- are you Isiah Rose?" He rambled as a smile spread across his face once again.

"Yes I am. I'm so sorry for being late, I had to run 5 blocks to get here. " Isaiah was wearing a comfortable smile and slid into the seat, taking another look at Raven's face and clothes with a soft expression. "You're not what I expected. That hair looks natural too, I've never seen anything quite like it. Cute." Resting his head in one hand with an arm on the table, he brushed a few red strands out of his face then added " Do you know what you want to order? It's on me, since you waited so long. "

Raven couldn't help but feel flustered as he grinned. "It's alright. I haven't waited very long," he replied. He blushed darkly as the other spoke of his appearance. "Thank you. My mom said it's so white because she couldn't get me out of the sun as a little kid," he replied. "Your hair is nice, too." He had looked at the menu earlier and knew what he wanted. "I do. Are you sure you don't want to split the cost?"

"How could I l ive with myself if I almost missed my date and then made you pay anything? Don't worry, you don't have to pay a cent." Isaiah grinned at Raven while blushing slightly on the comment about his hair, "Yea, it's natural too. I've wanted to the it black to stand out less but I can never bring myself to." Then he called the waitress over, who asked us what drinks we were having. Isaiah ordered a smoothie and then waited for Raven to order, being patient and keeping his manners to not rush him.
