You're fine, it's okay. But this is how you learn. Check to see if someone is actually doing the thing someone else has asked them not to do. Asking someone not to do something isn't mean. It's making a statement that someone else's behavior is irritating to you, and it's okay to tell people when they annoy you.
It's okay to tell the site admins when someone is trying to hog a board, too.
