but regular essences can only have 2 trait points (1 visible or 2 carried)

the trait part is the messy one, once you get your full visible offsprings ready, no it won't take a whole page. You nead more female then male (cooldown) so select only the best 2 or 3 males at max from each generation and be a bit more oppen for females as long as they have more traits/trait points then their parents. ^-^
