Currently listening to: "Buddy Holly" - Weezer (on Pandora)

Stuck in my head: "Pumped Up Kicks" - Foster the People (hardly appropriate given recent events, but there you go)

Can't get enough of: the Clash. I haven't gotten sick of them since the 1980s and am not about to start now. I even requested "Rudy Can't Fail" be played in the operating room when I delivered my kid via emergency Caesarean section last year. (A request that, sadly, was denied.)

I've been listening to the Under Night In-Birth soundtrack quite a bit lately.

In all honesty, it has one of the greatest Fighting Game soundtracks I've heard in a while.
It recently came out...and it's only in Japan at the moment (WHYYYYYYYYYY), so I'm sure not a lot of people have heard about it. xD

Themes I like in Particular:

Blood Drain -Again- (Eltnum's theme)
Yuzuriha's theme (I can't seem to find the name...)
Bad Surface (Carmine's theme)
and
Unseen Entities (Merkava's theme)

If you want to listen a relatively expansive range of music, I'd recommend looking up the soundtrack to this game. x3

well currently some new Fun. song is playing. they're okay i guess, it takes a while to get sick of their music, which i suppose is good.

personally my favorite bands are Fall Out Boy, Neon Trees, and Green Day. real unique, i know, but i have a thing for mediocre stuff, not too hard and not too soft, you know?

i'll listen to pretty much anything, excluding a few like Rod Stewart and Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, and while i'm not a huge rap or country fan, there's always good stuff if you're willing to try! I like some pop, but a lot of it is a little overbearing, and some artists start out okay but as they mature their material gets a bit repetitive imo.

well i don't like dubstep either, now that i think of it. gosh it's such a new genre i don't exactly register it right away, ahah

I'm currently listening to "Somebody's Watching me" by Mysto & Pizzi. Why? No idea. I just really like this version of the song. XD
Mostly I listen to old Pokemon Songs, (In both Japanese and English,) and I also listen to a LOT of Metal/heavy Metal.
Skillet, Trapt, and Linkin Park are favorites of mine. (Can Skillet be counted as Metal? ?_?) I also don't mind bands like Aqua and Cascada, for reasons unknown to me.

Dubstep's been around since the 1990s. Its roots go straight back to "toasting" or dub reggae, like what Sly & Robbie were doing in Jamaica in the 1960s.

That's hardly what you can call a new genre.

I'm not very picky when it comes to music. I can listen to almost anything. Really the only genres I'm picky about are rap and country. I enjoy alternative music the most. My current favorites are The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Last Dinosaurs, Coldplay, and Two Door Cinema Club. c:

i used to be one of those "i hate mainstream pop and rap!!!!!!!!!!" types, but then I grew up.

i'm into all that wiggy, screechy music, dubstep and such, but it can't have singers or it gets ruined for me. I'm embarrassingly picky with what I listen to.
