Thank you, and the others, for clearing this up since I had no idea that there was a difference between carried and hidden traits. I try to look through the forums for help but I felt that this way was faster. I also didn't know (someone has already pointed it out) that people do testing for free. Thank you for the help

Thank you so much for your help. You didn't have to go through the trouble to check up on Riot for me. I really am new to the breeding scene so I'm still clueless on a few things. Thank you so much.

As we said, sometimes we just can't control ourself (one time we looked back multiple generations through a pet's lineage on both sides because someone didn't know where a trait their pet had had come from- that one was an adventure)
I'm going to offer two pages from one of our guides (post 4, and post 10- post 4 is just a basic overview of the stuff sylesti pass down, post 10 is a more in-depth breakdown of how things get passed down, with examples) and suggest that if you want to try project breeding- or just "more focused but not really a full project" breeding- you check out Flute's stat breedng guide and/or Xavion's 6-vis breeding guide.
Many newer people get the terminologies for carried and hidden traits wrong, but they are considered two distinct things (one in a no-vis trait slot, one in a vis trait slot), though functionally the same when it comes down it it (an unseen trait on a trait slot with a 50/50 chance of being inherited).
