"Really? Again? I hate it when it's hot!" Cain huffed crossing his arms over his chest. "Why does it always have to be hot? It makes my wings all droopy. And swimming isn't good either! My feathers get all wet and soggy!" With that his sense less complaining begun, as it normally did. The joy of Cain though was that he is easily detracted, this time being by the pancakes before him. "Hey maybe I can fly a bit farther today! I think a few more of my flight feathers have started to grow in!"

The last two people, Eirini and Kelpie, head downstairs. They sit at their own table, as neither had ever been very sociable. Kelpie had never told anybody her name, so she was simply known as 'Kelpie', being the only kelpie in the place. Eirini was sort of like her watchdog, warding off anybody who might try to hurt her by threatening to sing at them. Normally being sung at wouldn't be too terrifying, but Eirini, being a siren, would have no difficulty killing somebody with her voice.

"Morning ladies! Looking as beautiful as ever! How did you sleep? Well I hope." Cain said as he started to ramble on again. That would be his bird brains as everyone else seemed to call it.
"Cain! Stop eating all the pancakes!" To this there was a flash of blue and white as the elf dashed forward towards the table and the food. Cain screeched a bit nearly knocking the syrup over. Playfully the elf wrapped an arm about the bird like boy's neck. "You little butt! You'll pay for this!" To this the elf giggled watching as Cain tried to break free from his grasp.
"Uncle, uncle! Let me go Dexion!" Cain squealed, nearly falling off the stool he was sitting in.
"That's more like it!" Dexion giggled releasing the black haired boy. "Morning everyone! Who's ready for a new adventure today?!"

Neko flicks her tail and sighs in annoyance. "You made me spill my coffee.." She mutters, mostly to herself. She carefully wipes the coffee off of her tawny fur, her wings flicking away the remaining droplets. She didn't drop the entire cup on herself, thankfully, but about a quarter of it is gone.
Kelpie glances up. "It'll be quite hot outside today.." She points out quietly.

"Aw man, that means we will be going to the lake again doesn't it?" The elf asked as he made a plate for himself.

"I-I don't mind the water.." Kelpie murmurs quietly, averting her gaze. "But if you don't want to go there we can probably find somewhere else.."

"I mean we can still go, but I'm not going near the water." Dexion said after a moment.

Kelpie stares at the ground, clearly uncomfortable. Her ears tilt back a little. Eirini gently takes the kelpie's hand and murmurs something to her.

"Hey why don't we go see about that cave in the woods we found yesterday? We didn't get a chance to explore it remember! It should be pretty cool today as well." Dexion said once he finished his plate of food.

"Sure." Neko shrugs, having finally woken up. As usual, Eirini and Kelpie don't offer their opinions, which usually means they're fine with it.
