She sat in the room she was put in when they took her into slavery she was not owned yet so she didn't have to do anything she just sat there she was almost asleep

Odelina read the letter several times over. She closed her eyes and shook her head. She read it again. She seemed rather confused. She was used to running around the mornings of a ball. Normally it was all hands on deck till the ball was over. Odelina set the note down and quickly ran to get her mothers dress. She put it on. A little laugh escaped her lips. She had never worn it before but it fit perfectly. She then ran off to find Dorian.

Ketki-

"A-Are you kidding me?" Ketki shouted angrily, staring at the showy dress in front of her. Her face was filled with disgust. Her?! Go to a ball?! Her owner, who happened to be the duke, wanted to display her at the ball for all to see. She hated him, she hated this castle, she hated this ball, and she hated that dress.
"Oh come on, Ketki darling," His voice sickened her."Enjoy the festivities for once. You're such a pretty thing too."
"I'll take my punishment for disobeying you. I'll take my cell in the dungeons, thank you very much." Ketki snarled, her cat ears flattened as her tail whipped angrily behind her. This man was outrageous. The duke frowned and sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"I don't want to do that to you... I'm trying to be sweet here Ketki... Don't be difficult..."
"Oh, so now you don't want to hurt me?! You seem to enjoy that so much every other day!! You may have bought me, but I am NOT yours. I made that VERY clear."
You could hear their arguing and yelling echo through the hallways that morning. Ketki and him were always fighting since she was so stubborn. They almost fought like an old married couple.


Amias-

Amias had been up since the middle of the night, and his owner had just called back to their room. He walked as slow as he could, trying to take as long as he could. Whatever it was, he didn't think it was too good. Amias sighed softly as he reached the door, and knocked on it softly. Ekon's rough voice granted his access. He nervously opened the door and closed it behind him. He slowly walked up to his desk, his head pointed down under his mask. Ever since he was eight, Ekon told him to wear it so people couldn't track him down. It was the only thing Amias was allowed to tell people "no" to when they asked him to take it off.
"Amias. You're not going to your normal patrol tonight."
Amias blinked twice. He had never skipped a patrol unless he was being punished. What's he do now..?
"You're going to the ball tonight, and I need you to come with me to pick some... presentable clothes." Ekon said as he stood up, adjusting his eyepatch slightly. Amias widened his eyes, staring at him in shock. Him? Ball? Skip patrol? Was Ekon going insane?!

Ekon-

Ekon has expected Amias to come here shaking and scared. He was right to think that, because normally when he was called here and told to skip patrol, he was in huge trouble. Ekon walked over to him, grabbing his mask and taking it off. Amias flinched back a bit. He was also right to be so jumpy. Ekon has turned him emotionless and quiet in front of everyone else, but in front of him, he showed fear. It was something only Ekon likes inflicting on him. It irritated him highly when other people hurt him.
"You won't be needing this. You're going to go without it for tonight." He ordered, tossing the skull onto his bed. Ekon knew Amias hated being without that thing. He'd grown attached to the thing after he gave it to him. He was a cute kid, no denying that. But he was in fact a killer, and an amazing one at that. Amias opened his mouth to argue, but quickly closed it and nodded meekly.
"Let's go. We're stopping by the tailors to get you something presentable. And then I'm having someone wash you. If you so much as get a speck of dirt anywhere on your body I will personally kill you." Ekon growled the last part as he opened the door, leading Amias out. Now that Ekon thought about it, no one had actually seen Amias without his mask.

Akiras Owner had not yet woken up so she decided to go ahead on her morning rounds. She found her collar in its usual spot on top of the night stand and slid it on before nudging the door open. This wasnt the first time she has done this as she is used as a guard for the castle though her owner was always her first priority. The castle was busier than usual which confused her until she over head a conversation about a ball that evening. I didnt know there was a ball tonight . She was prancing down one of the coradoors when she ran into Amias. She had never seen him without his mask and instinctively she dropped to her threat stance growling because she didnt recognize him. The public isnt normally allowed in the castle and she wasnt told otherwise so she was ready to defend the castle at all cost.

Alice strolled the corridors of the castle that morning.The maids scurried away from her as she walked down the Corridors. Alice eventually made it to the gardens of the castle where she spent most of her free time among the flowers.

Lidia bowed, a smile on her face. "We shall.", She giggled, following close bihind her brother. Heath was tugging on the collar of his jacket. "You can undo it, if you wish.", She said looking back at him. Heath sighed in releif and undid the top button. Lidia smiled at his releif. "Soon enough we'll be out of this castle and living like the people without a kingdom to belong to.", Lidia said, twirling a little.

Amias-

Amias flinched a little bit when Akira ran into him, taking a step back. It took him a minute to process that he probably wouldn't be recognized without his mask. He glanced at Ekon's annoyed features and then back at Akira.
"H-Hey, Akira, it's me... It's Amias, okay..?" Amias stuttered a little bit, still a bit uneasy since he was around his owner.

Ekon-

Ekon stood there in slight annoyance, but he knew everyone would practically have to meet Amias all over again. The kid was pretty different without the thing. It was almost like his outer shell. The wall protecting him from everyone else. He felt defenseless without it. That made him weak, and later, Ekon thought about shattering that skull to pieces.

Akira was still on edge as she approached Amias to catch his scent. Once she picked it up and recognized it she gently licked his hand to show she realized who it was. Thats when she allowed herself to relax.
