Cole wasnt listening to them, and instead unloaded, killing the rest. Then, rising, he turned and froze, seeing the others.

Kory stood in front of the masked teenager. "I don't recognize you young man...", He said, hands at his sides. "What are you doing out alone? You're lucky the shadows aren't out.". Kory sounded serious, his eyes were cold. The smaller boy next to him had his arms shoved in his pockets, thee hoodie he normally wore was tied around his waist. A loud crack sounded. "Come along, boy. I can show you a place of refuge.", Kory said, beginning to walk to a pile of rubble. "Donny's gonna have to fair for herself.", The brunet said, while walking.

In the distance a Hazechaser picked up a car, eating it. This made the duo speed up. "Doony's got that one!", Rane piped up, his young voice echoed through the delapadated street.

Cole, while the others were distracted, ran, seemingly disappearing.

Kory looked back. A smile covered his face. "Idiot, he won't survive long.", He laughed at himself. "Now come on, Rane. We need to get to cover before the Hazechaser catches us.". Kory slipped under the rubble, to go down into a covered spot.

Cole aimed, and shot the Hazechaser, frowning.

Victoria whipped around as soon as she heard the scream. As she watched the two fight, a huge skeleton thingy was ripping people out of the top floors of apartments. "Um...what rules?" She didn't have a weapon, and she had never heard any 'rules' about what to do in an attack. She went outside by herself and just about got eaten. She had no idea how to kill these nightmares, and she put someone else in danger. She realized that and it brought tears to her eyes. She just about killed someone because she was so weak.
"I'm sorry..." She tried to say, her voice hoarse

"It's fine.", Donny said. "You didn't know this would happen. now we need to find cover.". The tall woman grabbed the other woman's hand and sprinted. "We cant use any buildings, because of shadowwalkers, and the ground isn't safe because of Hazechasers and Black dogs.". Her voice was frantic as she ran. A Hazechaser must've saw them because it started to follow. "Stay here.", he said, letting go of Victoria's hand.

Donny ran at the giant skeleton. It tried to step on her but its heel was shattered. The haze screamed as it fell into a building, the glow in its eyes left just then. "Sorry about that.", she said. "Now, come along, we're going to the bunker, more than half of the state lives in it. It's barely even half way full.", Donny said, tacking Victoria's hand again, this time she just jogged.

"Wait," Victoria said, keeping up with the tall woman. "How do you know the base is completely safe? Have you been there before?" She bit her lip to not scream when she saw a Blackdog...feeding on something? Just thinking about it made her want to throw up. She distracted herself by asking, "is this what has happened to the whole world, or just us?"

"For the whole apocalypse, the whole world had gone to hell because of a stupid fourteen year old.", She stopped to gasp, a sharp pain hit her side where the Black wolf attacked. She started to move again. "And I've been living in the bunker with most of the states population for ten years, now.". She seemed to slow down apon a pile of rubble. She looked around, before opening a hatch and pulling Victoria in with her.

After they both got on a platform safely Donny began tinkering with a box on a wall. Ashe pulled Victoria in quickly before the platform began moving. "Be careful, this thing doesn't have any safety bars.", She warned.

"Woah," she said as the platform started to move. "What's happening?"
