"Where the heck is my partner?" Nicole muttered to herself, her eyes narrowing as she saw the time displayed on her smart watch. She was waiting to see who was assigned to be her partner for this case, and was now wondering if she was even waiting at the right meeting spot.

She was already extremely annoyed with the uncomfortable school uniform. The skirt was navy blue and she had tucked the white button down shirt into it. The tie was the same navy blue and white checkered pattern as the skirt, and she had actually been forced to do something nice with her hair.

Maveric was in the school uniform, khaki pants with a navy blue sweater and shirt. He rushed to the meeting spot, being late because he had to find his dorm and classes and all that stuff.

Lani was already at her dorm, brushing her hair. She picked every strand of hair that fell onto her uniform off of it. She liked the school, she had been here since last year.

She raised a brow as he finally appeared, his appearance matching the picture in the file she had been given. "Hello. You must be Maveric? I'm Nicole. Your partner. And you're late." She smiled a bit, trying not to sound too harsh.

Josh was in the office, scrolling through his phone as the Principal chattered on the phone. He was waiting for the two new students, and he needed to show them around school. He had also heard that one of them, the boy, was related to one of the girls in his class, Lani.

He smiled. "Yeah, I know. Sorry, by the way. Lani kept explaining to me where everything was, and once she starts talking, she doesn't stop."

Lani went to her first class. She was always early.

"It's fine. Actually, I have almost no idea where everything is... anyway here's the file." She handed over a black binder, it looked like any other school supply. Inside was a manila envelope. "The school got some strange threats over the phone with a voice scrambler. Couldn't track it. And they haven't told anybody yet, but they have reason to believe it's someone in this town."

He scanned the envelope's contents and put them back into the folder. "Alright. So try to find the kids with shady auras or whatever. I'm just gonna try to find some kid or teacher that everyone hates. That's my plan. And if that doesn't work, I'm dressing up as a cop." He had done this before, and it had proved useless.

((She's gonna be more uptight, but the other three can loosen her up when they become friends :P))

"Anyone with a suspicious nature. Precisely," she said, rolling her eyes at his unprofessional language. "Now, I hear someone's waiting to show us around, but I'd love to meet your sister and see what she knows. Can you call her to the office with us?"

(Okay, sounds good.)

"Yeah, sure." He shrugged. He pulled out his regular phone and texted Lani to tell her to meet him in the office. He had a phone he used for the missions and a phone for basically everything else.

Lani got the text and rushed to the office

Josh turned to see who had entered the office, and turned on his flirty charm at once, realizing it was Lani. "Hey," he said with a smirk and a wink. "What brings you here, other than seeing the gorgeous person that is me?"

Nicole once again rolled her eyes as she walked into the office, hearing the very end of Josh's question. "Hello, we're here for the student tour?"

She rolled her eyes but suppressed a smile. "My brother asked me to come to the office. He said you couldn't do it on your own." She added a pout with the last bit.

Mav was right behind Nicole.
