As you wait the growling gets louder. And out of the shadows jumps a large wolf-like monster. It lays it's glowing ice blue eyes on you in the tree and howls, clawing at the tree. If you stay in the tree it'll get you eventually, but if you jump down now you'll still have to fight it, and it looks strong.

Yeah you can do pretty much whatever as long as it's not involving magic.
You prepare to jump to the tree beside yours, and are in the middle of jumping when the wolf-like monster attacks. It easily bats you out of the air, and you fall on the ground. You can play dead and hope it leaves or you can order your sylesti to attack or you can risk trying to run away.

You lie completely still and try to quiet your breath. The thing stares at your using body for some time before growling and walking off leaving you hurt from the fall and lost in the dark woods.

You're left side is sore from the fall. You can walk, but you limp a little.

As Sour Apple and I walk up the path, a green shimmering fog begins to cover us. I cast an uneasy look at Apple, and decide to keep on the path as we could get lost if we explored the fog. I smile gently at Apple as we continue down the path.
