I like fantasy. Never been a huge fan of realistic fiction.

So fantasy it is then. Should we all try to come up with plots in the meantime? I'll do a few that comes to mind in a post.

People are disappearing, and only now does the king care when it stops with the poor and begins with the nobles. The kidnapper is always demanding a large sum of gold for ransom, but once paid, the victims are always found outside the gates the next day with mysterious bruising and no recollection of who they were.

The king sends a letter to a group of the best warriors/mages/intellects to find out what is going on behind the scenes. Set in a world where the poor withhold important information, and where the nobility is hiding many secrets.

That's all I have so far haha, made these up on the spot, though it took a bit of time. Hope these are okay, interested to see any other ideas :)

You are the last of your kind in a land that floats above a massive sea but the land that you live on is slowly falling from the sky. You and the others who are the last of their kind must escape to a new land before you all go extinct.
This is an old rp idea that might also work.
