Gobi


Named for a desert in a land far away, Gobi is another pet whose primary duties are to complete missions, while being on standby as a reserve battler. Much like his counterpart, Sequoia, his base stats made Fire the natural choice (although his owner was also swayed by his colours), and what he lacks in base stats, he makes up for in training and experience. He is most frequently found in the Garden of the Magnates, helping track down lore scattered throughout the ancient graveyard, assisting the elves of Saerielle's Sanctuary restore the graves of their forebears, and incinerating the occasional revenant. In a notable incident involving a swarm of revenants that had congregated around an undead Arch Mage, Gobi thinned the horde by launching an Explosive Fireball into the thick of the mob, before tackling the Arch Mage and burning it to ashes.
