Nixie turned to look brightly at the other dog. "Of course I'll come! You don't have to ask me twice." She set her ears back and raced ahead of Safdar.

Bone rose from under the rock where he slept. The alpha hasn't called him recently but he had hoped to talk with them soon. The German Shepard stretched his legs and walked off into the territory. The sun was already at its peak and it was time he did his job. Walking through the busy path of dogs who parted to let him pass. One of the reasons he was chosen as beta was because of how intimidating he was. At this time he reminded himself that he needed to speak to the hunters. With the huge blow to the dog pack population they needed to get more food if the pack was ever to grow back to its former glory.
