"Morning Desta, how's everything been? Life's treating you good I hope."

"Life has been good so far no bears, no killer deer, and no disappearing Duke." Desta glared at Duke. "I hope Duke hasn't cause you any trouble. Oh and a word of caution, Duke has a bite strong enough to break bones so I'd avoid putting my hands near his mouth if I was you."

Stepping out of his forge, with Kate at his side, Evan was just in time to see the sheriff disappear into the barn. He entered, with Kate still following him, and said, "'Ope I ain't intrudin', jus' wanna check on Sam."
He walked over to Sam's stall, and began brushing the grey stallion's coat, while Kate, of her own accord, stationed herself at the entrance to the stall.

Tyson didn't exactly rise with the sun. But the sounds of the town coming alive did roust him out of bed finally. He yawned and peeked out the window before getting dressed. He hurried down to where he kept the business. It wasn't busy at all. Still weren't that many people out this way, the innkeeper guessed. He scratched his clean shaven face. He was immune to facial hair, actually. He walked outside and decided to check up on Mark before going by and speaking with the banker on maybe making the inn a bit bigger than five rooms. Sunset was eventually going to be a safe haven for travelers after all.

"He's no problem at all, just helpin open up the office." The man asked pushing the door open and holding it for the woman. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Thank you. I came here to look for a job Sheriff and seeing that you asked Duke if he wanted be your deputy could I be a deputy?" Desta spoke. Duke barked and nodded. "Duke and I are a team if you take one of us you take both."
Duke looked the sheriff hopefully smelling food.
"No Duke." Desta looked right at Duke.

The silver haired man laughed shaking his head some as he put his hands on his belt. " 'course you can, though I'm going to need to see your shooting skills." He looked around a moment. "Let's go set up a small course and see how you do."

"Agreed though I'm gonna tie Duke to the barn then. He has a bad tendancy to attack whatever I try to shoot." Desta agreed grabbing Duke by the scruff. "Or lock him in here?"

"He can go in one of the cells, they're all empty and he should be safe there."

Desta nodded and stepped into the cell while motioning for Duke to follow. She quickly slipped out and lock the cell. "Sorry Duke. Thank you Sheriff now lets get going."
