Starr~ (Saddle-Born Steppes)

Starr slowly rose up from her bed, taking a few shaky breaths. It happened gain. Those nightmares. She thought that her days of having them were over. She was wrong. The bags under her eyes were very noticeable, but she hardly noticed a difference these days. It was the new normal. Ever since her little brother went missing, it was like the light and meaning of her life was snatched away from her.
She quickly got dressed, and packed all her things up. It was literally killing her inside. Of course, she couldn't let anyone know how much she was suffering. Unicorns aren't supposed to be sad, right? Maybe she could search the whole world for her little brother. Anything to get away from what was killing her slowly.
Before she knew it, she was already in town. The markets were as busy as ever, which helped ease her nervousness a little bit. People often stared at her, noting the bags under her eyes, and her jittery actions. She couldn't care less anymore. Nothing mattered. She wanted to be happy, yet, the sadness wouldn't leave her.

(I think I'll put in other characters later when I see opportunities for them to cross paths with someone else!)

Ea walked down to the brook near her house. The water was getting lower and lower. What was happening upstream? Ea wondered, then continued to walk down the side of the creek until she had made it to the well worn path to the marketplace.

Axel walked a bit more before he saw a girl that caught his attention. She appeared to be a unicorn. He decided to speak to her, even though he was not one for starting conversations. "Good morning, how are you stranger?" he asked as he walked beside her.

after she finally caught tempest, she sat near a stand full of kelp and seaweed. A few angry people threw a pebble or two at her and yelled "watched where you are going, don't you realize there are other people in the sea?" she used her forearm to shield her face from the small stones they threw. after they all made their rounds, she sighed "Another day in the sea of stories." She sat a bit longer before she put tempest under her arm, and swam around the market.

Cole woke up, tired. Bored, he rose, shook himself, and walked off, looking for a portal to go through.



Zilla roared, awake and ready to fight. She ran off, looking for a challenger.

Hoshedar and Celosia eventually met up again. Celosia recounted everyone she had talked to and all the tales she had heard. Hoshedar complained about her leaving him alone. The two walked around the market. They talked and laughed. Celosias wing wrapped around Hoshedar. The pair looked almost like lovers, but there was no romantic tension between the two. They were childhood friends, practically siblings.

Starr jumped a little, just because she wasn't used to people talking to her. She looked up to meet his eyes hesitantly.
"O-Oh, hello. I'm fine, thank you for asking." She smiled a little bit as she talked. She forgot how being social actually felt. She attempted to move her face away a little bit, just because she knew how out of shape she looked. "H-How about you? How are you this morning?"
