PATH 1: As you begin your path you see rolling hills that cascade along that of a towering tree line in the distance. Puffing up your chest, and with a brave front you continue forward casually. And as you do so, the tall grass moves within your wake. The further you go, the more you find yourself daydreaming a bit as you idly glide your fingers through the tall reeds of grass enjoying their soft texture against your skin. Unfortunately that nice and cozy feeling quickly fades when you finally break through the underbrush of the forest that you unknowingly walked into. No, now you begin to fall down a short incline. Winded and sore, you attempt to sit up and gather your senses after finally reaching the bottom. Stiffly you get to your feet when you notice you are no longer alone. All your sense tell you something is watching you closely. You stop and attempt to locate whatever it is, or where ever it is. To your left, you hear the soft rattle of chain close by. Pushing back the pain of what you physically feel from your fall, you pause a moment before advancing towards the source. Whatever will you do? See what it is, or turn tail and run? The choice is yours..

PATH 2: Even though the sky above is slightly over cast it does not deter you, as you travel down your chosen path. At first it seems to take you through a beautiful countryside all a glow with rollings hills and a forest in the distance. But that isn't where you are going..No, in fact you feel as it this path is guiding you elsewhere. Chuckling, you move a head and round the bend to see a moderately sized lake ahead of you. The way the sun shimmers of the still and calm surface makes you pause mid stride and enjoy the view. A part of you almost wishes that you could live in a place like this. No hussle and bussle of city life to get in your way or annoy you. Just fresh air and open space. And as you sigh in containment, something dark in color whizzes past you and into the reeds(cattails) located at the water's edge. You reel from that a moment from being startled a bit, and before you know it is gone. It definitely was no bunny that you are most sure of. Regardless of that fact you still are left wondering just what the heck was that. Unable to ignore it, you become increasingly curious. Do you advance forward and see what it was or head back where you know it is safe? The choice is ultimately yours.

PATH 3: Honestly right from the start, you are already regretting this decision hoping that your choice to continue pans out as you find yourself somewhat in a desert. Fanning yourself, you trudge forward. The steam rises of the sand and rocks before you. In truth, you honestly can feel the heat from it all through the very soles of the shoes you wear. Talk about WTF...Shaking your head, you continue forward and begin to climb up a small rocky out cropping, when you are started by what clearly is seen to be a scorpion. Instinctively you pull back and almost lose your balance. Milling all of your courage, you foolishly swat the scorpion away, and thankfully avoid being stung. With a sigh of relief, you continue up hearing the crunch and grind of stone and loose sand beneath you feet and hands. It isn't long before you make it towards the top. Looking for any foot hold to help you finishing hoisting yourself up, you spot one just to your right. Reaching out you grasp a hold and begin pulling yourself up, when you feel something furry. You hear an alarmed squeak, that in turn startles you yet again. With your fried wits about you, you manage to roll to the side and up on to the hot sand above. You pear in the general direction of where you felt that creature, and where you heard the noise. Staring back at you from the foot hold that caused all this drama is a pair of pink eyes. This critter sends you a warning chatter/growl. Do you attempt to show compassion and try and calm the frighten animal, or quickly get to your feet and get the heck out of there?

PATH 4: Not a cloud can be seen with in the sky over head. This brings a bit of a smile to your face, as you begin your journey down a well worn path through the countryside. Nothing will dampen your moods, not even the elements. Well maybe not, you aren't quite sure. But regardless of that tidbit, you continue on and press forward. And after what seems like hours of walking one endless mile after another, you come to a "T" in the road so to speak. Casually you look both ways deciding which way to go, when a painful cry tears through you moment of deep thought. The cry you hear is soon followed by that of a much weaker cry of pain and confusion. It is clear something in distress, and need of help! It is clear that time is of the essence as well, as you move urgently forward to see if you can lend a hand. And just as you push through the underbrush of the forest in front of you, and step around a large oak you find what looks like a rusted chain attached to that of a small bear trap. With in the bear trap a bloody and tiny paw can be seen. The dark fur colored paw leads to the dark shadow of a low lying bush. Not much can be seen of the creature outside of a bit of cloth. Could this have been someone's beloved pet caught in a forgotten trap and left to fend for itself? How horrible...Now the choice is up to you on whether you help whatever it is out and thereby gain possibly its' favor and friendship, or be cold and cruel and leave it behind as well. What do you choose to do adventure?

You ultimately decide to advance forward and show this injured creature some tenderness and compassion. Nervously it watches you as you near it's injured paw, but with no where left to go it whimpers instead. Carefully you pry the jaws of the beast of burden apart and free the little one. And in in instant there is a bright flash of light followed closely there after by a soft voice.
"You have shown great courage and compassion human. You have pleased this forest spirit. May you know the kindness you and great deed you have done here today. For helping this little one, I have healed her of her injuries. Please take her with you, and keep always safe."
It exclaims, as the light dims and you find a female ferrikki at your feet looking up curiously at you. But that is not all. A second comes out and to join her.

PATH 5: Dusk is slowly falling, and you adventurer have been wondering aimlessly down your choosen path for hours. All you know is that your feet hurt, you're hungry, and you are tired beyond believe. Taking this as a sign, you decide to break from your travels just as your stomach growls alerting you to your own hunger. Casually, you step over to a near by tree and sit down. Bringing your bag around, you unclasp the top and open it up in hopes of there being enough food to see you through. And surprise surprise, you see that you more than enough. Maybe a bit too much, but you can never be too careful. Sighing in relief, you pull your snack out, and unwrap. And just as you bring it to your mouth, you feel a pair of eyes watching you. Nervously, you casually look around while holding your composure. It is when you glance towards the bush near the tree about five feet in front of you that you catch sight of a dull pair of blue eyes that are then gone as it darts around the tree. Shrugging it off, you continue to enjoy your meal so much so you break out a bottle of water, when that feeling returns. This time it seems to be coming up from with in the top of the tree. Glancing up, you see those eyes from before gazing down at you with a hunger and thirst. A tentative chatter is emitted from this creature, as you see its' eyes tilt curiously to the side in hopes you might share. Realizing it must be as hungry as you are, you begin to wonder if you should or no should not share with it. It is a wild animal after all. Swallowing what was in your mouth, you debate on what you will do next.

PATH 6: Casually you stroll through a remote village near a heavily wooded area at the base of a great mountain peak. Its' majestic view is awe inspiring to say the least, but with a shake of your head you pull yourself back to the present. You were told of a possible treasure at the end of this journey, and what would happen if you stopped now? Would someone else claim it? Knowing this seemed to put a renewed bounce to your step as you continued on your way. It was at this point just as you were about to head east, that something in someone's yard just beyond their stone wall where their fresh clean clothes hung to dry. Upon closer inspection, the clothing russells around as if struggling with itself. A dog somewhere nearby begins to bark, causing the bit of clothing to run off like a bat out of hell. It leaps upon the stone wall just feet from you and back to the ground heading towards the forest. And as it does so, you catch sight of a tuft of grey fur and a lengthy body of some animal. Do you give chase in hopes of regaining this stranger's stolen clothes, or mind you own business and move on with your day? Though the moment you deliberate, the more your child like curiosity pulls at you demanding to go after it. Do you stay and go about your journey, or give into that childish need for answers? Just know it really seems awkward for you to be simply standing outside of some stranger's house thinking of what you will do. Just know the longer you deliberate with yourself, the more possible unwanted attention you will receive. Realizing this, you take a few tentative steps towards the woods as you continue to figure out what your next move will be.
