Three individuals seemed to be shouting and cornering an odd looking Vixen who seemed out of breath and one of her wings was slumped to the ground as she growled at her pursuers you can still hear them shouting but nothing seems clear until the injured vixen yells over all their babbling " I din't Steal anythin'! " her voice echoing against the trees as her one working wing flared up and beat the air in a swift movement knocking all but the heavy muscled Draeyl back.


For a moment he stood back before angrily puffing his feathers out. She was clearly at a disadvantage even if she was a thief. That was no way to treat a lady! Rushing out into the clearing he stood before the vixen, his wings fluffed out to make him appear bigger than he was. As he did so his hissed, flicking his tail about beside him.

(I forgot to mention he's mute...sorry about that :3 )

As you did the three seemed to back off a bit before the little Rikki spoke up " She's not worth it guys... besides she wont make it long with her wing mangled like it is.." she said flicking her tail and struggling to get her short legs on the cart the other two giving the pair of you a stern glare before getting in their cart and carrying on down the road... after a moment you hear the vixen's voice though this time it was more soft and a bit embarrassed " Um.. T-Thanks.." she mumbled flattening her ears and casting her gaze to the ground.


As the rikki spoke he stamped his feet and screeched, advancing a bit in warning. As they turned to leave though he calmed down a bit settling with only a slight growl which didn't stop until the cart was well out of sight. As soon as it was his feathers settled back down and he sat cocking his head to the side as he looked down at the small vixen. She looked hurt. In a caring motion he nuzzled the top of her head, ruffling the fur some as he did. He was no healer unfortunately, though sometimes love was the best medicine.

She seemed a little confused as you ruffled her head but she seem to catch the hint you couldn't speak much " Oh! I'll be okay there is a Town the other way... I should be able to find someone to mend it well there, What's your name ? " she asked pulling her broken wing slowly up to her side as she spoke before gesturing to the ground the sand soft and wet from the river....

Sand...immediately he rakes his talons into the sand, making only a series of claw marks that formed no words. Excitedly he bounced about the bank, digging the sand up a bit before plopping down in it and rolling about. There was nothing he loved more than sand, except maybe snow. That was until it melted then he hated it. She had mentioned leaving though, want if the baddies came back? She would need his protection no? Well then he planned on following her! Right after he got done playing in the sand.

When You looked up the vixen was already slowly walking the opposite direction of the cart, struggling to tie her wing in place against her bags As she lost her footing some and stumbled. It seemed to be about noon and the sun dried your feathers and the sand quickly.

As he saw her leaving he hopped up, shaking his feathers clean before bounding after her. When she stumbled he dipped his head to catch her, trying to help in any way he could. He offered lightly to help her tie the wing up, even though he couldn't tie very well. Hey she had wings maybe she could help teach him to fly again! Though it didn't seem she would be able to in a while...oh well! Walking was just as good for the most part!

She seemed a bit surprised as you caught her and seemed to appreciate the help. "Thanks... you want to come along too huh?..... well I'm BluJay... " she said with a kind smile not seeming to be expecting an answer as she walked on keeping pace with you as she continued to talk " The town up ahead is Eroana, Its not the nicest place but I know a friend there who does a great deal of healing" she paused just for a moment her ears flattening as her expression changed to one of exhaustion "... he's a bit out there " she said seeming a little concerned as if this odd ball friend of hers had four eyes and an odd hobby.

The large bird cooed a bit not really listening to what she was saying. He kept his eyes on the road ahead, watching to see if anymore badies came down it. He couldn't let his new friend get hurt! That wasn't good! Every now and again he would stop, ears forward as he listened though he always came up empty. Were they alone?
