Ferox heard a howl from far off it sounded female. He felt drawn towards the howl and he couldn't understand why. So within a split second he made his decision and jumped off of the extremely high rock he was on and began gliding down the mountain. He swerved to avoid hitting the manny pine trees that dotted the mountainside as he headed towards the source of the howl. After a while he came upon the source of the howl, a female lupora and standing beside her was another. Ferox stayed suspended in midair for a few more seconds before landing a few feet away from the two females not knowing if they ment him harm.
"Friend or foe?" He asked as he warily approached and began to scan the surrounding area.

Incoming muffin!
Kragvir soared over the rocks, finally coming to the source of the howl - a female she wolf, and... Another female she wolf? He was a bit confused until he saw the other male wolf and resulted in him becoming even more confused. He was rather sure that there was only one wolf when the howl happened. But then again, it was a howl to start a pack. Putting the pieces together expertly, he assumed two of the wolves were also newcomers, brought here by the howl.
Swooping down and backwinging furiously to slow down, Kragvir managed a skidding entrance to the scene. "Aha." He spoke for the first time in a long time, voice deep. "Hello." He took a look at the wolves, observing each one in the way that he was curious to learn. The dark red she wolf looked slightly sinister with her wings and colouring and looked like she had been accosting the other she-wolf for some time, so she probably wasn't the one that howled. The black male wolf covered in scars probably wasn't the source of the howl either, as he was male and he looked like he was also in the process of questioning the brown she wolf.
Thus Kragvir came to the conclusion that the brown she wolf had to be the one to howl. He was interested in joining, but sat down and quietly watched before saying anything more. He wanted to know more before actually making his choice to join or not.
--
Asora was still waiting for a reply from the brown she wolf when the black male wolf glided in on black wings structured very much like hers. She was immediately suspicious, as wings like those were not found commonly, but she still kept up her mask of a cheerful social butterfly. "Why, hello hello!" She smiled, flicking her tail as a hello. "We mean no harm, dear." She looked from him to the brown she wolf and then back again. "This wolf here wants to start a pack." She paused for a second, "and I'm joining!" She added the last part rather proudly.
Of course, all of that was under her mask, but she didn't mind acting the part if she could join the pack no problems. Then, she took a good look at the black wolf. "Wow! That's an awful lot of scars!" She barked, still with a happy air about her. "I wonder what happened?" She wanted him to tell her.
It was not long after this when another male wolf swooped in, one with fur the colour of clouds on a snowy day. She gave a curious glance towards him when he said hello but otherwise didn't answer him. She was waiting for an answer from the black wolf for her question.

-Ferox-
I shifted a bit so I could get a better view of the male lupora that just landed. Then I turned my head to look the female that had just asked the one question that I would not answer, just yet anyway. "That is none of your business the only thing you may know is it is how I became alone." I said trying to be as vague as possible.
-Luna-
When I heard the loud howl from the rock that was about a mile away I began running towards it. 'There are finally other people to talk to I won't be alone anymore' I shouted in my mind with joy. I returned the howl as I bounded towards the source.

It was quite save for the soft rattle of the tree leaves as the wind softly stirred them. The moonlight shone down into the small clearing though even it had a hard time revealing the thin lupoar who inhabited it. Her breath came in rasps and her bones nearly protruded through her skin. It was all she could do to stay awake, to keep death at bay. Her head fell heavily on her paws. After all she had done, after all she had fought for this was how it was to end? Whimpering a bit she allowed her eyes to close for a second. She didn't want to die...not like this though what else was she to do? Without being able to hunt she had grown too weak to stand, so she just sat there now waiting for death to come to her. As a long howl broke the night her eyes flashed open again. Weakly she lifted her head, ears perked forward at the sound. It was close...maybe if she answered they would hear? Throwing her head back she managed to produce a broken howl in answer to the other. It wasn't much though it gave her some hope. Maybe this wasn't the end after all.

The three arrived to where the howl came from."Hello.Are you the one who howled?"Wave asked the brown she-wolf.Juniper stood next to his mother "There's quite a lot of wolves"He noted, slightly nervously "If we are to join a pack there will many members"Ripple whispered back "Don't worry, they aren't enemies."Juniper nodded and looked around at everyone. He wondered who he would be friends with.He hoped that they would become part of the pack then they wouldn't be rogues.

Shadow slowly stood up, jumping onto a new and higher rock so she could speak and everyone could hear "welcome everyone... I am guessing you have heard my call... So welcome. I have called to all who no longer have a pack, be it because of abandonment, death, banishment, or just being born rogue, or whatever reason. Here, i want all to be welcome, all to be appreciated. No omegas, never. and mates, to be selected by mutual love, not by mutual rank. And all pack members, regardless of their rank will be included in meetings, group hunts, and we will not stop the hunt until their is enough to feed everyone well. I hope you all will join me in this venture..."

((OOC: dude, Shadow hasn't even told anyone her name yet))
--
Kragvir raised his head from his hunched position when the brown she-wolf leaped up onto another, higher rock. He was a bit tired out from flying, being someone physically weak. As the she-wolf spoke, he began to think. Definitely she would propose a system of ranks, and even if she was the female alpha and tried to manage everything by herself, things would not go well with a lot of wolves in a pack. He had been trained to become alpha before being kicked from his previous pack, so perhaps he could offer assistance to the she-wolf.
"How do you plan on managing the pack? How are the ranks structured?" He asked cautiously, wanting to know more before diving into something new. He also wanted to hear the opinion of the others before making his final decision, so he tried to keep his mind blank of bias or opinion, although he did still feel the obligation to become alpha in the new pack that was going to be formed.
He thumped his tail against the ground on which he was sitting on, concentrating on what the brown she-wolf was saying.
Wait.
Did he just hear a weak, broken howl from somewhere nearby? It sounded like a female, but by how the howl sounded it seemed like the wolf in question was weak and somewhat in trouble.
"I believe someone is in need of help, new alpha." He said after she'd finished her speech. He looked in the direction in which he'd heard the howl, but all he could see was rocks and a couple of pine trees. He looked back at the brown she-wolf. "It is best we go help. They might even join your pack if you offer them the choice."
He was ready to howl in order to better pinpoint where the weak howl came from, but he hesitated, knowing that he was surrounded by other wolves and his new alpha. Howling now would not be of proper conduct, so he sat patiently and waited for the brown she-wolf known as Shadow to either howl or give a command.
--
Asora sat through the speech of the brown she-wolf once again, yawning internally. Since she arrived before everyone else, she had already talked to the she-wolf about her dream of forming a new pack. What she heard now was pretty much the same words as she'd heard before, so she gave them little regard and instead she observed the newcomers curiously.
Two blue wolves, it looked like they were sisters, and another, smaller wolf. Probably their sibling or something. In a quick assessment, Asora determined that they were probably good at hunting, seeing that one of the blue she wolves still had some blood around her muzzle, probably from hunting before she'd come here in response to the brown she-wolf's howl.
She looked away from the three wolves when the dusky grey wolf from earlier spoke, asking his questions. He was rather quiet, Asora noticed, but she could sense that he held great potential in him. He seemed to be testing the waters of the new pack before jumping in right away, something that Asora approved of.
She was only here in order to survive, so she didn't have to hunt for her every meal or fight off other wolves by herself. Maybe when other hostile wolves came the pack could get rid of them and spare her all the effort, even though she loved the rush of adrenaline that came from the fights that she had in her previous life.
Asora tilted her head lightly when she heard a broken howl. She was a bit contemptuous towards whatever wolf it stemmed from, as she wondered why they even bothered howling if they were so weak. In the harsh world that Asora knew, the weak died, either of hunger or killed by other, stronger wolves. Wasting effort on a last howl was something totally pointless to her.
So, she didn't report the howl to the brown she-wolf on the high rock. She did twitch, however, when the snowy male wolf brought up the howl. She snarled inwardly, still keeping a cheerful exterior, but she deemed that the male wolf was definitely too soft for his own good. If he went on caring like that for anyone, he'd probably end up dead.
But, why should she care? As long as she survived, she was fine with anything.
Thus, she ignored the male wolf and looked towards the brown she-wolf for her answers to the male wolf's previous questions about the pack.

Acacia had heard the howl. The moment she did she stopped chasing a rabbit and started running towards the sound leaping over logs and creeks. she loved the sound of the wind rushing past her ears. She ran into a clearing to she that a young lupora was the sorcerer of the sound she looked around and saw that other lupora had heard the howl too.

Shadow stood and picked a bundle of leaves up, using her teeth to rip it open and pull a few things out as she spoke "Ranks will be decided on a variety of things. I won't be speaking of how, not quite yet. Once things have smoothed out, once things have calmed, i will begin the selection. For now, I just want everyone to get settled in and aquainted with eachother." The minute she heard the howl, She jumped off the rock and headed straight for the distressed lupora, howling loudly to let them know she was on her way.
