You've got interesting ideas :)
Even if it does not seem popular for now, I especially love idea 1. It has lot of potential and could be very fun, especially if we could find a way to reveal our chosen secrets to the thiefs only (maybe by mp instead of writing them in the forms?) so we could try to guess the secrets of others while protecting ours.

the characters can all send me a note im pm's detailing their chosen secret from murder to petty crimes as long as its worth playing a wretched mind game all back stories are welcome does that work ?

Yes it would work, If the roleplayers except for you don't know the secret of the characters, it would double the investigations we have to make. We wouldn't know who our character can trust, as the other characters could be liers and dangerous, even killers.
Well, your mind gives you good ideas :)
