your out by yourself riding on your trusty wolf friend through the woods. all is well and quiet when come up to a crystal river. the water is cool and smooth and both of you start to take a drink of the sparkling water. all you know is one second you and your wolf friend were taking a drink of some of the best water and the next second there is a river dragon in your face glaring into your eyes. you can tell that the dragon is very unhappy that you were drinking his water but you want across the river too and he doesn't seem to be in the best mood right now. you have the ability to grant 2 wishes per creature but you cant waste them what do you do. meanwhile your wolf is growling at the river dragon that is 10 times its size.

I tell the wolf to calm down and (this makes me a goner) I apologize to the dragon. I did not know it was in the river, and I did not mean to be mean to it. As an offering to stay alive, I give it a little meat, asking it to allow us to cross without harm.

the dragon is still on edge. it accepts the meat but still wants another payment for the damage and loss of its sacred water. it explains that this water is the only water that it can live in or drink.

I apologize again and give it more meat, along with a little gold from GOD KNOWS WHERE. I say I can try to enchant my water in my canteen to be sacred like the dragons, but then I would be out of water.

the dragon appreciates you efforts and accepts the meat and random money but says you can keep you water. he then makes a bridge with his body and lets you cross. yay you all are happy now and you didn't get eaten!!
