Hello, fellow adventurer. My name is 'Ever-Spring', your personal guide and/or narrator. Glad you could join the fantasies of role-play. Thank you for your registry form.
Now that you have explained yourself, it is time to choose a starter path. You may choose ONE starter path from the list and when you reply with your starter path, please use 2-3 paragraphs at least. You may provide more if you like.
I hope to be seeing a lot of you, Theasia Gandermelle. I have a feeling this is only the start of a great quest ahead!
(Note: Your default resources are open to use as well. Anything from the starter list you contain in your inventory, and will be useful in the future.)

Theasia had a rough childhood ever since her parents abandoned her. Not only did the orphanage not take her in but also people would beat her a try to assasinate her because she was a half-breed. When she grew older she travelled to a different village where nobody knew her and got a job as a wheat mower where she would spend hours a day cuttiing down wheat stalks with a heavy scythe in the blistering sun. Thats how she became stronger and skilled with a scythe. A couple years later she quit and decided to find a job in the big city nearby. She hid the fact that she was a half-breed by covering her slightly pointed ears with her thick hair. One day she found a request to slay a giant wolf that was slaying a farmers livestock. She took up the job offer and completed the job. That was how she found her passion for hunting and fighting.
Theasia walked into the creature hatchery and looked around at the many creatures running around and the multi coloured eggs grouped up in a corner. The hatchery caretaker was a stout, aged, little lady with a big smile on her face. She showed Theasia around and introduced her to all the adolesents. After, the caretaker exused herself as anouther customer came in. Theasia looked around the room trying to find one with the strong characteristics she was loking for. She needed a strong and compatible partner that could aid her when she was in need. She Noticed a dark shadow in the corner of the room. She came closer and realized it was anouther adolesent. The caretaker dind't show him to her so she wanted to ask about him. She wandered off to play with the hatchlings as she waited for the caretaker.

I had always just took a glance at the pets in the hatchery. Everything was always changing, whether it was the pets or people. I always casually would just take a peek to see what was new, but I never thought I'd find another adventurer in the pet hatchery. When I saw this girl with a scythe on her back, I thought it quite bold to step out into public with such a monstrous sized weapon. Surely others around her would be fearful seeing her walk by. I didn't seem to be bothered by it. Actually, I was quite inspired this girl had took no care in what others thought or said about her.
She was mysterious in a way. Discreet, hiding a secret, in the background. Whatever it was, I wanted to know what her motives were. I was thrilled to find someone different than every other peasant. I then pondered a deep thought, and convinced myself to help this girl. She seemed determined, and not to mention her skill in hunting. Her journey might benefit me in a way, and I'd maybe find another that would change things for others in the world. Daring quests, difficult tasks, frightening beasts... All I thought she could conquer.
"I shall talk to this girl, as a guide, and convince her to take me along as a guide. I've been traveling so much, I need someone to guide through all I know. I will be prepared for whatever comes, and it could change what people think about those who are in the background. Like me".
You have come across an important guide! How will you handle her recruitment? Will she only be a threat and dead weight? Or will you accept her as an essential part of your journey? Only you can determine your fate.
What are your plans? Where will you go or remain? Do you trust this new "guide"? Your path awaits you.
'Khotara Village' is desolate, harsh, and only grows more hard-hearted each waking moment.
Do you want to remain here until you gather enough resources? Or are you eager to leave and pursue new paths? Your fate lies within your hands, adventurer!

Name - Morrigan, Prefers To Be Known As Mor
Gender - Female
Occupation - Rogue Ranger Of A Shadowy Kingdom
Race - Half Dark Elf, Half Druid
Motive(s) - Adventure, Gold, A Chance At A Better Life, Her Position As A Ranger Back, A Better Title Than 'The Halfling ******'
Brief desc. of appearance - Mor has long ebony black-brown hair and tanned skin. She often wears her hair in a plait or tucked in her hood. Mor never wears dresses, usually hunting leathers, boots, and a long cloak, all in dark colours.
Brief desc. of talents and other information - She is a master at silent and unseen movement, also quite good at hunting and tracking but not the best. Her combat skills were never the best to begin with and are getting rusty. Mor's best weapon and most powerful weapon, however, is her sharp, quick, silver tongue. She was wrongly accused of a crime many years ago and was banished from the Rangers. She wants, and plans on getting, revenge and her place back.

Hello, 'Morrigan' (Or 'Mor'). I am known as 'Ever-Spring', guide to all worthy adventurers. You have caught my eye, and I'd be glad to guide you on your way. Thank you for your registry form.
Now that I know a little bit about you, it's time to start our adventure. First, you will need to choose a starter path! Whichever you choose, please provide 2-3 paragraphs at least describing your path and beginnings. You may add more detail and information if 2-3 paragraphs does not cover it. Glad to be in service to you. Our quest is only beginning.
(Your starter inventory items are also for your personal use. They are there to start you off, and are to be used wisely. You will gain many more items along the way. May I just remind you, be imaginative with your origins and paths. There is no limit here. If you ever don't remember what to do, or are afraid you'll do something wrong, make sure to check back at the "rules page" or ask your guide for help. This is a game, not a test!)

Theasia looks up as a young guide approached her. Her grip tightens on her scythe. The guide looks cheery and non-threatening so she lets up her guard. "Hello!" greeted the guide," I noticed that you are an adventurer and wondering if you would like me to your guide. I can lead you to your destinations faster and be of use as a companion!" Theaseia is starlted by this offer. Nobody ever really notices her or is so nice. She thinks over what the guide had said. It was true that she needed somebody to lead her and that she had no idea where she was going so decided to take up the offer." Sure... I guess." She replies after a bit. "Great! My name is Ever-Spring! What is yours?" Theasia paused for a moment deciding if she should reveal her name, but then decides for it because if they are to be companions then they should at least know each other by name. "My name is Theasia Gandermelle, i'm a beast hunter, I will be glad to have you join me." She said with a bit of a forced smile.
Theasia walked out of the hatchery with her newfound companion tailing right behind her. "So where do you want to go first Theasia?" asked Ever-Spring. "Well first off I want to go to the capital. I heard they are in high demand for beast hunters up there, also I would like to find a spell weaver that could put some enchantments on my scythe." answered Theasia. After I stock up on gold I want to go travelling to find better game and more thrilling beasts. The worst beast you get around here is a foroging ogre or giant wolf." They walk in silence for the rest of the way to the edge of town. "Well it's all up to you now." said Theasia as she turned torwards Ever-Spring. Then they marched out of the little town, hearts full of adventure.

Aris was intrigued and quite relieved when Ever-Spring offered her help with his adventure.
Hmm. A guide. That is a great idea. I don't really know what is out there and any help would be appreciated. With that thought he decided to accept her guidance. After all it was not like he had much of a plan in the beginning. His original plan was to just leave the village as soon as possible and head towards the south, where he had heard that it was warmer.
Carefully considering his options Aris decided to stay awhile in Khotara Village to gain the resources that he needed. The provisions that he had currently were meager and would likely not bring him very far. With another person coming along it would not be wise to walk along the edge of starvation and thirst.
