As they tumbled through the air, Foeslayer reached out and grabbed Legendtellers hand/talons. Then they landed on a carpet of green grass surrounded by oak trees. Skye looked up at the trees, then jumped into the air - and fell back down.
"What in Pthurra" she muttered, trying to touch her wings.
Hurricane was the first to figure it out. And as the true horror of their situation struck them,
"I'M A SCAVENGER!!!"

Legendteller shook his head, his hand still grasping Foeslayer's... wait, that wasn't a talon! As he looked around him, he realized that Hurricane hadn't been lying- he was surrounded by scavengers who all seemed to be his size.

Beside him, a lovely redhaired girl with unusual blue-green eyes was sitting. She was rubbing her head, dazed, and then glancing around in surprise. "Three moons," she swore, clutching her head and tugging worriedly on her long copper hair.

"Carmine?" Another human asked, recognizing the girl's voice.

Legendteller's eyes darted to look at him. "Scorpion?" The blonde boy was easy enough to recognize from his voice and eyes.

"Are you all alright?" Carmine asked, scooting closer to Hurricane and Skye.

"Why would we be alright?" Legendteler growled. "We're scavengers!"

"Three moons!" yelled Skye.
"Skye, calm down!" ordered Foeslayer, moving pinkcheeked away from Legendteller and resting her hand on Skye's shoulder.
Skye promptly bit her talons-no, hand. "We are SCAVENGERS, in an DIFFERENT WORLD, And we have NO idea how to get home, and you aske me to CALM DOWN?!?!!!" she stomped in a circle and burst into tears.
"Scorpion, I miss the Sand Kingdom!" Skye sobbed into the other former SandWing's shoulder.

((Oh my god this is really fun to rp because the people nearby would be so confused why a bunch of teenagers are yelling and crying in a field of grass XD))

"Foeslayer's right." Legendteller nodded, running a hand through his hair and then quickly moving it away as he realized it was something a scavenger would do. "Stay calm- we need to assess the situation. I should not have yelled like that."

"I agree." Scorpion said, awkwardly patting Skye to comfort her. The awkwardness was obviously not from her crying into his shoulder, but the fact that she was a scavenger. The fact that we all are scavengers. "Skye, look at me. You'll be fine. We'll find a way out of this. I miss the kingdom too!"

Carmine glanced around, wide eyed. A few scavengers walking nearby on the otherwise deserted street were giving them weird looks. Carmine stood and prepared to blow a plume of fire at them- but the familiar feeling of fire pulling up her throat didn't come. She just coughed, and the passerby sped up their pace.

Ping!

"Hey! You kids!" and old-dlooking scavenger with grey hair and red furs came out of the den. He had a long stick, which he pionted at the sky. It let out a bang and a puff of sparky smoke. Foelsayer jumped and let out a gasp. Skye grabbed Scorpion. "Get off my property.
Property? Skye thought. Foeslayer glanced at her and mouthed, 'probably territory!'
The group of former dragons needed no convincing. They fled.

"What in Phyrria is going on?" Carmine managed between huffs as they sprinted off. Her wild red hair blew out behind her. She was rather ungraceful on her feet, nearly tripping. Legendteller almost slowed down but started running again to lead the group. Scorpion kept a supportive arm around Skye, helping her as they ran.

Hurricane was the first to fall behind. He had been a powerful swimmer, but weak at walking and flying. "Wait!" he poffed in a near whisper. FOESLAYER! I'VE FALLEN BACK! WAIT! he screamed mentally. Foeslayer heard him shout. "Hurricane!" she called and slowed her pace. Shye glanced back. "He isn't following!" she said. Hurricane panted loudly. The sun was going down. "Where are we going to sleep?" he asked, echoing Foeslayer's thoughts.

((BTW Sky doesn't like Scorpion, he is just a fellow SandWing so she feels close to him))

((I know- I was thinking more of the brother sister type relationship. Scorpion = protective brother ))

"Is he alright?" Scorpion's eyes grew wide as he stopped, turning. The heat didn't seem to bother him, though. Carmine slowed down as well and therefore Legendteller had to do the same.

The Nightwing- or now Scavenger- frowned as his violet eyes scanned over their group. "You okay, Hurricane?" Carmine's seemed to ask the same question, though she was trying to catch her breath as well.

Foeslayer glared at Legendteller. You are a NightWing. Be strong! she told him. Hurricane nodded. "Just hungry. And tired!" he said as he recovered his breath. "I've never been great at flying. Just swimming!" he admitted ruefully.

Skye pointed at a large two leveled dem with brightly lit windows. "Might as well start there!" she announced and led the way.
