Foeslayer circled around Jade Mountain before choosing an entrance with only two other NightWings. She fumbled her landing and almost crashed into the smaller one. "I'm sorry!" she cried.
"It's OK!" said the larger dragon. "I'm Hope, a teacher here. Who are you?"
"I'm Foeslayer!" she replied breathlessly. Hope stiffened visibly.
"How did you get that name?" she demanded. Foeslayer glanced at the other dragon.
"That's Peacekeeper, you can trust him!" urgeed Hope.
"All right..." Foeslayer looked at the ground. "I was named after Darkstalker's mother. Whiteout is my great, many greats grandmother."
Hope had an odd expression on her face. Was it anger, sorrow, longing, or something else? "Come to my classrom after you get settled in." she ordered.

Scorpion ran into the entrance hall to escape all the dragons outside. She made no attempt to curl up her tail, waving it at anyone who got in her way. A MudWing tapped her wing and almost got impaled by Scorpion's barb. "What?!" she hissed. The MudWing took a step back and said in a small voice, "Here is your map and winglet guide!" he shoved several papers at her and backed away. Scorpion went off to her cave and began to wait for her wingmates.

Frost scanned the crowds for a familiar glint of silver scalesin the sea of dragons aroung him. Finally he caught sight of North, a dragon he knew from the Ice Kingdom. He jumped into the air then flared his wings, landing gracefully next to her. "North! It's good to see you!" he hissed, glaring at all the other dragons.

Falcon let out an angry bust of flame and opened his wings, knocking several dragons aside. He flew to the roof of the cavern and perched on a ledge and waited for any other SkyWing to join him.

'I miss the sea...' Hurricane thought as he dipped down toward the mountain. 'I wonder if they have any lakes nearby?' he landed near the peak and began to jump dow in small leaps, then ducking inside an empty winglet cave and laying down in the salty pool with his name written on it in coral.

She landed gracefully on the rocky ledge, her color-changing markings almost disappearing for a second as she did. She glanced around, noting that she recognized some of the SkyWings around. She would have gone over to talk to them but decided against it.

She headed over to the cave where she was the stay. The Quartz Winglet, apparently, was to be her cave. Carmine poked her head into the room, unaware of the Seawing sleeping in the pool nearby. She headed over to her ledge, which was designed like the place she slept back at home.

The Skywing opened her sloth, Dragonfruit's, cage, and the little ball of fur climbed up Carmine's leg. Dragonfruit had been a gift from her estranged Rainwing father before he had stopped visiting, and she loved the sloth more than anything else.
