That just looks like a loading issue with your browser. Probably hard refreshing the page would have fixed it.

I don't believe it's a Themed trigger.

Just had this happen to me; ran into the blank image, went ahead and entered a battle thinking it might just be server lag, but there was nothing in the enemy side of the screen; even when I tried to fight it anyway (lol), I was unable to select anything. When I left my mana on all pets had dropped to zero. Very much doubt it was a themed unless they come in groups; the message given was:
[11:03:38 PM] You have encountered a few Enemies! What do you wish to do?
[11:04:38 PM] Your Party ran away from the battle!
I tried F5 while I was in the battle screen a couple times, but nothing ever showed up. (Thanks for making it so we can refresh and not get kicked from battle etc, by the way, that's such a fantastic feature!)

Images not loading I'd think would be on the client's end.
Next time that happens, just try hard refreshing the page and giving it a couple seconds to load.

Well that was fun. =P
I think this should finally be fixed.
I had to put the code in a test environment and run it once at a time over and over... and have it print out the logic/math for every single step so I could follow it... find where the +1 was coming from... and then figure out a fix for it w/o breaking anything else lol.
It should be all cleaned up now though!
