Piper smiled. "I guess if you're free today after school you can come over and meet him. Guitars are cool, I used to play flute. That was way back in elementary school though." She said with a small laugh. "What kind of stories do you like to write?" She said before looking away, was she being to annoying?

He smiled awkwardly, he wasn't very good at socializing. "I'd love to meet your dog, normally I go for fantasy, I can create and draw creatures from what I see..." Realizing what he just said, he shut his mouth and gnawed on his lip, hoping that she hadn't picked up on that.

She nodded. "I like to read adventure and fantasy. Oh. SOrry if I am coming off as annoying, I don't usually know what to say so I'm either silent or rambling." She said a bit quickly before glancing off, a bit embarrassed.

"You aren't annoying, I just, don't talk to people much..." He trailed off at the end, glancing away awkwardly. Looking back, he asked, "I've seen you around a bit... You don't normally have people around you, why?" Scott looked curious, she seemed nice enough, so it didn't make that much sense to him.

Piper hesitated. "Well people think I'm weird, because I don't like to hang out and go to parties and go gross stuff like they do. And it has really just been me, Boo, and music since I was in 8th grade." she said, forcing a small smile.

"Yeah, I get that... People say that I'm crazy, I guess they aren't wrong but you know, it still hurts." He spoke in a quiet voice. Looking down at the ground, "You're lucky to have your dog, I only see mine when I'm round my mum's, otherwise I have nothing... Mum doesn't even like me that much."

Piper frowned. "Well, you can be my new friend. We can hang around my place with Boo and watch Netflix or Hulu or something." Piper said with a tone of determination. "We wouldn't be alone anymore. And if it helps, I don't think you're crazy, you have your quirks, from what I've seen so far. But I don't think you are crazy"

"Yeah, I would like to be friends, I've never really had any before. What things do you like to watch? Maybe we like the same things..." He smiled softly, glancing around the open space. "You say that, but you haven't seen anything yet... I have, um, schizophrenia..." He whispered, hoping that Piper didn't get scared by that. "That makes me crazy..."

She gave a small smile. "Well to your question, I watch anything. I binge watch, I do like dramas, comedies, horror, and sad movies. I have anorexia." she said, her voice softening at her last sentence. She stared at her feet.

"I watch alot of different series and movies too, it's one of the things that actually keep me busy." He bit the inside of his cheek and replied, "I guess that makes us both odd huh? It's kind of nice thinking that you aren't the only one who people find weird." Realizing what he said, he stopped for a second. "Not that you are weird... It's just... Um..." He sighed, giving up .
