Rem glanced around, hearing breathing behind him, he didn't look back for long but long enough to notice the girl. She had short red hair and was wearing a witch's hat, that made it plain to see what she was. He turned back around, still pondering whether or not to speak with her. After a while of thinking, he decided it would cause no harm and managed to choke out a "Hey..." Without even looking at her.

Piper's head shot up. "Oh, uh...Me? Uh Hi!" she stuttered out

Rem inwardly flinched, hearing her stutters made him think, 'Did I make a mistake, should I not have talked to her? Did I scare her?' He took in a deep breath and said, "My name's Rem..." He cursed himself on the inside for being so awkward. 'Is that the best you can do?! You idiot!'

"Piper," she said as she reached out a shaky hand to shake hands with him

"Nice.... Nice to meet you Piper." He whispered, shaking her hand gently, before recoiling it and holding it close to him, as if for protection.

She let her hand fall to her side. "Same to you Rem"

"So... Um... Where do you think the receptionist is..." He asked in a quiet voice.

Piper shrugged. "The place is pretty big so..."

"Yeah... That's probably it..." A cough was heard from behind Rem and he turned around to see the receptionist, her dark brown hair twisted into a messy bun on the top of her head and a pair of steely blue eyes stared at them. "I believe you are here for your dorm rooms." She spoke in a cold voice that sent chills down his spine. He simply nodded. "You are in dorm 8." She pointed to Rem. "You poor child." She added with little sympathy. "And you are in dorm 3, along with that girl back there." She pointed to Autumn, who stood in the distance.

Piper nodded and politely thanked her before telling Rem see you later and heading her dorm
