What was she saying, she didnt believe these things. She closed her eyes and said a quick prayer. If you are gonna kill me, please, do it quickly. I Hate the sight of my own blood. she said quietly. She didnt believe they were gonna hurt her, but with all this chaos, one could never know.

Hugo believed that she didn't have anyone with her, so he let himself relax a bit. Ross shook her head. "We're not going to kill you, I promise," she said. "Unless you have chocolate because I would kill for chocolate right about now," she added. "Oh my god," Hugo moaned in exasperation. "Kindly ignore her," he said to the girl with a smile.

"My ring? Oh yeah, I don't know where she is. And the reason I'm trusting you is because I could take you down if I had to. Lucky for you I won't, kid." She sighed and set the first aid kit down. Then she walked over to a corner and pulled out the envelope of photos. "Look, I'm a marine, so there's no chance of me leaving. Besides, if any hordes or those desparate fools who eat other folks show up, I'm gonna be darn useful."

I would accept that help, cause there aren't that many left." She spun her pistol and then put it away, not moving from their corner. Oh yeah, and as for the cannibal freaks, two of them are dead now. Desperate people do desparate things." She shuddered, and tossed an MRE at him. "What all do you have with you? I've got some plates and utensils, a sleeping bag, a coat, a hat, some more MREs, granola bars, ammunition for the Glock, a flashlight, and a wallet. My apartment isn't too far from here."

That pushed him over the edge. One there was no way he was trusting a stranger just out of the blue, two there was no way she could have killed the men he vaguely mentioned. And lastly why the hell did she want to know what he had? Gritting his teeth he placed a finger on the trigger of the gun. "I don't know who the hell you are, but I'm not an idiot. Alexa grabbed her bags and got up, wincing when she put pressure on her sprained wrist, and left the tattered building. She closed the crooked door and walked in the general direction of her apartment. "Jesus, sorry for trying to help. I'm gonna be PO'd if I come back tomorrow and he's dead." She saw a few figures following the spattered blood and turned around. Picking up a rock and a tattered poster, she wrote with a half dried pen the words 'bad guys tracking blood trail', the ink gone before she could write more. Swearing profusely, she bunched the poster for the movie around the rock and chucked it back into the building. "I'm getting to old for this garbage." She wandered to the back of the building and loaded her Glock.

"She was infected had to be..." he winced. What the hell was her problem?! She acted like his mother! Know it all army lady. Oh look at me I'm a marine, you should bend to my every whim because I'm a soldier. Disrespectful was more like it. Sighing a bit he settled back down on the bed, laying the gun across his lap. Now to wait for Chan, hopefully she was alright. Though as the rock crashed through the window he jumped, crying out some as he pulled his wound open again. Damn it! Looking up though he saw a few of the men from before. Great! Just great! He had them to worry about now! Grumbling he lifted the gun firing the first round at the man in the front.
