Sage turned his head this way and that, making sure nobody was standing on his blind side. The only thing he saw was a shadow he had summoned, grinning maliciously aft him. They were after somebody. A man who had claimed to know information, but instead sent Sage on a wild goose chase. The young man saw his shadow zoom off, only to coming back, dragging a squirming, screaming man with graying hair. When he came to a stop, Sage planted his foot on his chest and leaned down. He turned his head slightly to fix his good eye on the man. "I've been lied to. I don't appreciate that."
The man trembled. "Look, you were freaking me out! I had to say something to make you leave!"
"So you lied? I can't let this go, you know. I have a few friends I'd like you to meet. I hope you're not afraid of the dark."
Sage turned and walked away while the sound of savage snarling and agonized screaming filled the air. The young man plunged into the forest, wrapping himself in shadow.

As the two people start chatting the figure thinks "So did they not notice the difference around them? Well lets see.."(Are we at the a forest or at a ruin site?). The area around the two malfetto become even colder and mistier.
