As he heard the voice he jumped, hurrying under the table that was in front of him. What?! How had anyone gotten that close to him with out him hearing?! Hissing some he fluffed his fur out in an attempt to make himself larger.

Alan seemed started at first but expression changed quickly. He smiled as he began to clap his hands. "Wow that was so cool!" he said. "Do another magic trick"

"Magic?! Do I look like a magician?" Snag snapped his eyes glowing red. "If you're going to keep bugging me then you ca do so while getting me some food."

"Well, my sister likes to pack snacks in my satchel. See here" Alan reached in his brown bag and pulled out a batch of grapes. "She knows that grapes are my favorite because they're sweet." He digs through his bag to see what else his sister stored for him. "She also packed apples, carrots and potatoes"

"Pass the potatoes." The animal said slowly crawling out before sitting on his hunches like a dog would. "If you would."

"Oh sure" He gave the animal a few potatoes and smiled. "My parents always used to say sharing is caring"

"Your parents knew what was good for you then." Snag said picking a potatoe up in his talons and tossing it up into the air before catching it in his mouth and swallowing it whole. The next was it up with a talon and eating it in slices before standing up on his hind legs like a human would. "So you got a name kid?"

"I'm Alan" he said "What's yours?"

"Snag." The animal like human said as he walked about the tent in search of more food, mainly meat in this case. "Shouldn't you be with the others? I mean a thief like me isn't that interesting."

"Well I was with some friends but I wanted to explore and my friends didn't so I wandered by myself..." In the distance he could hear a voice, a voice very familiar to the white haired boy. "Alan. Alan. Alan!" He turned to see a brunette rushing to his side- his older sister. "Where have you been?" she asked in a worrying tone "Why weren't you with the other kids? Are you alright?" "No worries, Elaine. I was exploring and I made a new friend Snag" he went on while pointing "He showed me a magic trick and we shared snacks". Elaine made a deep sigh and smiled of relief. "I'm glad you're alright" The young women addresses the fury creature. "Thank you for looking after my younger brother." She said "He can be a handful sometimes"
