Ames didn't bother shouting out her wares. If someone was interested, they'd come over. However, she pulled out a odd instrument with worn out strings and began to play it. On good days, it attracted customers. Well, with the news she had just heard, mercenary work was about to become profitable.

I sit behind my pile of vegetables and flowers, waiting patiently for someone to come by. I don't yell at people to come to see my wares, I tend to just wait for them to notice my giant cucumbers, lettuces, and heavenly smelling honeysuckle flowers. I have sold at least half of my wares so far, and am quite pleased with myself.

Ames was bored and hungry so she left her stall and slammed some money on the desk of another stall with flowers and vegetables. "Can I get a cucumber?" She asked.

"Of course," I say, my tail twitching a little bit.
"What size? I have big ones, medium ones, regular ones and persian ones."

Ames crossed her arms and leaned back to look at the cucumbers. "I'll take a big one," she said.

I pick up a cucumber as big as my arm as if it weighed nothing, and say,
"That'll be three silvers," I say. In our economy, we have coins, which are a 100th part of a copper, which are a third part of a silver. A crown is worth one-hundred coppers.

Ames slides the money across the counter and leaps up to sit on the counter of the stall. She pulls out a knife and slices up half the cucumber. "Want some?" she asks, tossing a handful of slices in her mouth.
