It's fine. How about a world that was light but now darkness is coming? Like, some evil stuff is making its way in?

Ohhh, I like that idea! c: So, maybe like an evil "force"? Maybe some members disguise as "good" beings to make their way into the light place? Orrrr....something entirely different would work too, lol.
Hmm...I suppose we would have to decide the goal of the evil first, though.

Take over the kingdom and make it home top a great evil, then move on to take over the world. Perhaps there is an evil king or former knight who is the leader of the evil.

Evil kind sounds good to me. c: It would be interesting if the areas the evil takes over changes, too. Like, idk, bit becomes darker there or something. ^^ Tho, if you don't like that idea, we don't have to do it
