The knights swallowed. A man stepped out into the light. His face ominously lit. He smiled. "Shall I go find the little runaway your majesty?" He said bowing.

(Sir Landon)

I took off my cloak and laid it down on the bed. I took off my belt of supplies. I probably couldn't go outside. It was too risky. The kingdom would be on alert for me.

"Yes," The King ordered, about to get out of his seat. The princesses watched him, alarmed.

"Who?" Aria asked.

"A man stole something of ours." Landon said. " I'm about to get him and what he stole. But he couldn't be too far away. "

I sat down in a chair and looked at the book. "Now let's see what you're worth to me." I said and opened the book. It was quite small but it would be hard to read if I hadn't studied the language of magic.

"I want to come!" The blonde royal rose and hurried after the knight. "How old is he?" She asked.

"Who knows... He must be young or strong to have escaped." Landon said. He had his sword and he exited the castle. "He is going to be quite a pest." Landon said.

I read more of a spell that would give me a burst of speed. It would be useful if I needed to escape. It was mid day. I put up the book and looked at the bed.

"Strange..." she commented, then picked her dress up a bit. "Ugh, I should have changed- I would have if I had foreseen this occasion." Sighing and shaking her head, she turned when she heard someone in one of the abandoned rooms and the staircase nearby.

"Did you hear that?" Landon asked. It was the old trapsmith's house. He had aided in making traps and secret entry ways. He has been gone for many years. Around 20. Landon wasn't sure if the trapsmith was even alive.

I grabbed my stuff and looked around. I jumped out the window on the opposite side. I sprinted away not knowing they could see me.

"He's fairly fast. Stay here princess." Landon said to her.

"Alright," she said begrudgingly. "But I'm coming if he tries to run."

Landon ran after him. He saw the book under his arm. This was definitely the man. He kinda looked like one to steal.

I looked over my shoulder and my hood fell down. They could see my white hair and my eyes. I looked forward and slipped on the grass. I tried to get up but the man had grabbed a hold of my hair.

"You are stupid. You really shouldn't run. It's dangerous. But you're going to be going before the King. I think you'd rather be dead." Landon said.

"Landon?" Aria called, picking up her skirts and hurrying down the hall. She got to the knight's side and looked down at the hooded figure. "What happened?"
