"Ah, hello." Uaua smiled. She was studying a tiny bonsai tree, as it's leaves had been wilting. "Cervo, was it?" She'd seen him in the market before, but never was able to strike up a conversation.

Nehele looked at the crimson eyed man. The girl... The Hawai'ian watched with interest. He leaned closer, and suddenly felt his own stomach churn. When had he last eaten? It didn't matter, since soon he would make a fortune, producing ores from the ground and sending money to his sister. When the man handed the girl the bowl, Nehele sat up. A burly man behind the teen turned and glared at him. "What do you want, kid?" He looked up and the burly man grabbed him by the hood. His featured contorted and he threw the boy back into the wall. "What in the bloody hell?" He backed up from Nehele. "What's wrong with your eyes?"

Jatara's eyes widened as the crimson-eyed man explained that he had paid for a meal. She shook her head, trying to form words. "Oh, my, I'm sorry- you didn't need to, I could have paid..." her hands fumbled with the small coin purse. "I can still pay..." Her head suddenly swerved to the side when she heard the two men arguing nearby.
"Huh?" She looked up and spotted the two men- one seemed quite close to her in terms of age, but she didn't focus on that for long after she got a look at his eyes. They were milky white, and she personally could have mistaken that he was blind. What's going on?

Nehele picked himself up, and his hood fell down. He blinked, and in seconds, he was bearing a set of ten-toothed knuckle dusters, a common weapon on his native islands. "Please leave me be." The other man ran at him and into the window. The Hawai'ian simply sidestepped, and when the man landed in a bush, he smirked.
While he was at it, he kicked away the man's dagger and pulled two coins from his pocket, slipping them into his own bag. "What?" He looked at the girl. She must have been his age.

She looked around before realizing he was talking to her. Her face turned unusually red- he might not have wanted people to watch whatever had happened. "Nothing at all." Her expression turned stony and she looked back down at the ground.

Asha sighed. "I wish I had a real person to play with, not myself." She mumbled. She ran towards a tree and climbed up it. "Hello little squirrel!" She said to a squirrel nearby in the tree. She wanted so badly to reach out and pet it, but knew it would only run off scared. As she was watching the squirrel, she lost her grip and fell off the tree. "Ouch." She mumbled.

Perfect, two of them. For a moment his eyes glowed brighter as he slipped into their minds, reading their thoughts as he did. Sure enough...they were like himself. For now their power wasn't as strong as his own but with some time it would be. " it's perfectly fine." He smiled at the girl the glow leaving his eyes. "Tell me...the both of you. Where are your parents? It's not often you find such able bodies away from their parents."

Nehele felt a slight tingle. "Crimson eyed man. Get out of my head." His silvery white eyes were like metal, daggers glaring at him. "I refuse to speak to you." He vanished outside the door, scaling a building, knocking down the ladder, and leaping across roofs, cloak billowing behind him until he came to rest on a flat roof, barely visible in the foggy morning.

Jatara felt an involuntary chill go down her spine, then turned back to face the man. "My parents?" She tilted her head, her silver eyes narrowed. She wasn't eager to give away information, but for some reason it seemed like she could trust this man. "Ah- they're back at my home."
