@coradrawa,

If some of them weren't empty, the it would make sense that theres some left over. After exceptional feed, i saw that all your pets are feed (to a degree), so most of your pets must be empty of food at that time

In theory, tomorrow there should be left over premium feed in your stock.

Hmm :/ that's the werid thing because there should be plently left over because the basic feed can feed all of them but would be completly empty :/
And the premium should have a small amount left over

@Coradrawa,

Right now the max amount of food units you can put in your stables each day is 225. If you were gone for 2 weeks then your pets would be hungry for almost 1000 food units. That means that it would take almost 5 days worth of restocking your pet feed with exceptional to get them all completely full to where you would have left overs. Otherwise, your pets are going to keep eating it until they're full each day. (Also, if you feed them normal daily it will take 14 days, if you fed them premium daily it will take 7).

The reason why normally your premium feed only looses half is because your pets aren't starving, they're only hungry for 1 unit if you feed them daily. But after 2 weeks, they're hungry for 14 units.

Does that make sense?

If you want, I can explain a bit more of the mechanics but I don't want to start throwing around unnecessary details orz.

@Sylvette,

Nope, today it's completly empty again XD and I had to hand feed all the starving ones, the werid thing was it was some in the second and some in the third tab, but it wasn't all the ones near the end it was completly random :/

@Ash,

Yes but today it's completly empty again, either I'm a idiot who doesn't notice starving pets or my feeder is bugged :/

@Coradrawa,

It should be completely empty again, it's going to take a week or two for them to be full again (depending on which kind of food you feed them), and so for the next week or so you'll have an empty food bar everyday.

I hope you don't mind I looked around your stables yesterday and I noticed many of your pets were very very hungry.

Like check out these pets:

Un-named

Check out their hunger bars at the top of the genetics info. While some of your pets have already eating their full 14 or so units to make themselves full, these three have not. Instead, they've still hungry for 14 units, and when it's their turn to eat they'll eat a full 14 units of the food you have available, not just 1. That's how it's suppose to happen, because if they don't eat for a couple weeks they're going to be hungry for a couple weeks worth of food, not just 1 day. So, just expect your food bar to be empty everyday for a little while.

Side note for why all the pets in tab 1 are full but tab 2 and 3 are still very hungry: When your pets eat it's not distributed evenly, pets in tab 1 eat first until they're full, tab 2 eat second until they're full, etc. While I'm guessing you've moved your pets around a bit in the last few days, these three look like they've been in the last tab most of the time.

If you look at cute's food bar, you'll see that when they were feeding on yesterday's food she had the very last bite. So the pets in front of her are all full now, and the pets right behind her are still near starving (the exception of course being the ones you hand fed, they are now either full or only hungry for 1 food unit)

The feeding system isn't really perfect at the moment, and I believe it's one of the many many things slated to be worked on as the game is developed but for the moment, I'd guess the it will be left the same since it's functional, if a bit confusing at times.

@Coradrawa,

Oh man not a problem at all, I'm glad it's all straightened out! Yeah, there's plenty of confusing things here and there, so never be shy to ask!

(I went ahead and fed a few of your pets that were pretty hungry, so it shouldn't take nearly as long for them to all be full now)
