"Again. Don't know." All these people seemed too weak to be good companions. As for herself, Aria liked to believe she was perfect. In fact, she was so damn proud of it, she could leave this sorry little bunch and find her way back to where she was supposed to be.

I noticed some sort of tattoo on his left bicep, but I couldn't tell what it was. In fact, I could hardly remember anything. I frantically brushed the last of the sand out of my wavy hair, smoothing out the rats nests.

She glowered at him. "Fine. But if you all end up being worthless, I'm going solo. And I want to change my clothes." And if any of ya mess anything up, it's the end of the line.
"We have to wake up those people." He pointed to the other bodies on the beach. "And then find out if they know anything."

"I want to change out of this hospital gown as well." I was aware of how melodic my voice was, and how jealously the other girl looked at me. Aria looked like she hated me. Scott.... I don't know. He was... Weird and flirty. And... Attractive?
