Mirage walked down the train isle, sighing at the realization that she might have to be crammed into a random compartment because she was almost late. The teen witch rolled her eyes as she opened the compartment door, her eyes wide at the sight of a familiar redhead Ravenclaw.

"Aislinn!"

"Hey Mirage." She waved, opening the door. "Oi, you lot! Make some room!"

"Ready for this year, Aislinn?" Mirage grinned, tossing her vibrant blue and purple hair. "How about the rest of ya?" She recognized many people, as this was an entrance to her fifth year at Hogwarts.

Two girls across from them spoke to each other in Irish. "No." Sean said. "Eh, they're all Gryffindors. They don't like school. Except we still think Sean should be Hufflepuff."

Mirage stuck her fingers through the bars of Ginger's cage, feeling his fur. "Ha, hear that, Ginger? Aislinn's here, Sean too! Ooh, I wonder who Ravenclaw's prefects are."

Aislinn stood up straighter, adopting a high pitched, British accent mocking last years snobby prefect. "Of course, I should be prefect. I am a model student." "Yeah right!" One of the two other girls said. Aislinn broke down in giggles.

She playfully punched her in the shoulder, giggling the same. "Right, of course you are. And don't mock like that- it's no good to have manners like so, although it is quite funny." She quickly grabbed Sean's stack of cards, sticking her tongue out at him. "You and Aislinn, and your crazy habits! What do you have?" She scanned through the cards, it had always amazed her how the two had been obsessed with collecting them.

"Hey!" Sean scrabbled at the cards. "I collected two of every card, not counting all of the other extras of Dumbledor and that lot. I've got loads of them," Aislinn bragged. Sean stared at her. "All of them?" "Yep. Every single one."

Mirage rolled her eyes. "Cool it. Anyway, stop bragging, poor Sean here is jealous. Alright, well, have you lot met any first years? They're in for a surprise if they get involved in the prank some Gryffindor sixth years are playin'. I was about to bust them when I heard the plans, but I thought it would be fun to watch.

One redhead raised her hand. "I'm a first year." The other girl next to her put an arm over her. "Well they'll have to go through a couple angry Irishmen first." The group of kids from Ireland were basically a family. Despite some being in different houses, the six, now seven children did everything together.
