One NightWing stood out. She was a very dark violet, but obvious in the crowd. Much skinnier than the others, she had a white comet-like birthmark on her left shoulder, and silver scales at the corners of her eyes, like glistening tears. She approached nervously. "H-hello."

"Er..... Um... Yeah. I'm fine." (switching pov) I tucked my wings and tail in closer. From everything I heard, I knew most NightWings could only rarely see possibilities, but to me it was like looking at stars, some bright, some dim.
This dragon.... She could be a friend. I had to choose well.
